Lost item in transit, I had to chase to find out. They rearranged the delivery with DPD for an item that had been lost in transit so no chance of it ever coming. Requested a refund.

The unit works great, but only after discovering a 3Amp fuse in the socket. Most likely placed there from the original manufacturer. Aircondirect were fast at delivering, the guy who delivered it was very friendly.

We ordered a air con unit from Aircon Direct and it arrived damaged. We returned and were sent a new one. This one appeared to be ok but we when we removed it from the packaging it is smashed at the bottom. They refuse to replace it because they say we should have reported it sooner. Be wary, check all products as they do not care how they arrive with you. Customer service have just wasted my time and do not care. They just hung up on me!
I had two wall-mounted air conditioning units installed in Sept 2022, they have not worked since installation and I have had a nightmare trying to get them fixed. Aircon Direct subcontract everything: installation, servicing and repair. Consequently everything costs more and is impossible to arrange. For example, servicing costs £250 whereas a local firm I spoke to charges £100 but wouldn't service my units because they didn't recognise the brand. Customer service is centralised offshore across all appliances direct brands and cannot give straight answers on anything. I was promised an engineer would visit on repeated occasions and they either never came or cancelled and because they are subcontracted the next appointment available would be two weeks later. I found out that the gas had at some point leaked out of my units which is apparently extremely dangerous but at the time of writing I'm still waiting for answers as to what exactly is wrong with my units, when they're going to be fixed and what dangerous gases they may have leaked in the meanwhile. Tl;dr - Skip the middleman, go to a local contractor, save yourself money and hassle and have air-conditioning that actually works.
