I'm yet to receive the products that I ordered online (the website is straightforward and easy to use), but my first experience with the customer service worth five stars. I forgot to apply the new customer discount code (that obviously only valid for the first order) and messaged customer service. They were quite helpful, applied the code for me and issued the relevant refund for the percentage I saved. Based on this experience I can only recommend Bare Minerals.

Only reason I’m leaving 2 stars, not one, is that I haven’t actually tested the product. The review is more so for the whole experience with Bare Minerals. Placed an order, mistakenly selected the wrong shade which I have immediately realised and rectified with the customer services, making a reasonable request to cancel the order before its being processed. Just to receive a standard copy and paste response that once you have placed an order you have to wait until it arrives and then send it back etc etc. No good will/ attempt to even try and help me out to correct my order. Other companies, like feel unique, when dealing with exact same problem, have been extremely helpful and have cancelled my order once contacted promptly…. Anyway, in the end there was no point talking to customer service who actually didn’t even bother replying to me after querying their initial response, which is shocking in its own right considering that’s what customer services is for - talk to customers and try resolve the query. …I have waited for the order to arrive and submitted returns - requesting Evri print in store services, all seemed fine but had no notification to confirm it’s gone through: no email m/ returns label has been received. Therefore, I tried submitting another return, just to find out that I can’t because the previous return level requested has run into some issues and it asked me contact customer services via the link provider, which was the last thing I wanted to do after they just ignored me last time. When clicked on it as instructed- it directed me to some bizarre website, with no sign of customer services/ chat/ any means of communicating with anyone. Overall, in this day and age, on line purchases cancellations and returns in most shops are made super easy. I will definitely not be buying anything else from bare minerals. Defeats the whole point of an easy and quick online shopping experience.
For me customer service is everything, because life has enough problems where I can I try to minimize them. And if I have numerous bad customer services experience with a company I won’t use them again. So I thought it was vital to take time out of my day to write a positive review and give bareminerals some kudos. Alex is outstanding. Quick responsive, empathetic, compassionate and impressive. I have been using bareminerals for years .My shade is pecan from the barepro performance liquid foundation range. For months this had been out of stock so decided to contact their customerservice and after half an hour I got a reply so quickly from Alex. He apologised and told me why I cannot get hold of the product but also gave me a suggestion of which shade from a newer range I can get instead. He had been so helpful to me and I'm really happy for the service. Thanks Alex x

Recently purchased an overall oneskee. Been on a snowboarding trip 2x already and very satisfied. Very convenient to use and nice and warm. Good quality and waterproof.
I have been using bareminerals for over a decade. I have loved their foundation compact! I alway stock up in advance. I recently purchased a compact and opened it over a month later. However unlike the many previous compacts, this was really dry and powdery. The grainy powder was getting everywhere so I couldn’t take it with me anywhere. I contacted bareminerals but they have been flippant and unhelpful. They keep redirecting me back to Boots even though this is not a purchase issue but a product issue. In the past month the compact had disintegrated further as it’s sooo dry! **please note that I haven’t been using it, instead I made a last minute purchase of Bobbi Brown. It is just disintegrating on its own. I didn’t trust purchasing another bareminerals compact after this, and also due to their total lack of taking any responsibility for their product. Time to look into another brand.

I was a loyal customer for years but as I’ve aged my skin tone has changed so needed to change my shade. The usual store I used to go to no longer sold bareminerals so I found, in desperate need of foundation I went for another brand (hoping to be temporary). However I have used online match which was quite frankly useless and gave me a different shade each time I used it. I emailed their support and once again useless, suggested shades that were absolutely not for my skin. So I called to speak with someone and yes you guessed it - useless.. he didn’t even know their policy on returns, he said they do not accept returns but website says different. So now I give up and back to Charlotte Tilbury I go, what a great shame.
I purchased two Mineralist Eyeliners from the cosmetics department in Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport on 11th December. Got home and opened the pencils and the inner crayon part of both pencils was dry and broken into approx 1cm pieces. Nothing like the tester I'd tried. Every time I wound up the pencil a piece of broken crayon fell out. I can't of course return to Heathrow Airport with them and so asked Bare Minerals to help but they said 'sorry no'. They said they are only able to assist with orders placed directly on bareminerals.co.uk Any after sales requests for replacements or refunds must be made through the original point of purchase - even if that's impossible and even though they are the manufacturer!!
So you sign up and get 10% off. At checkout I got free shipping, and then I applied the 10% discount. Bare Minerals then ADDED a shipping fee and deducted the 10% from that. Grand Theft in my opinion Won't use a company like this.
