No regard to dealing with faults

An expensive pair of Bloch tap shoes lost a screw after 3 months of once a week wear. Enquired with Bloch Customer services for a replacement screw or advice on why there was a fault with barely worn shoes. They advised to see a cobbler or to purchase new taps at an extra cost and pay the cost of having them fitted. Shocking lack of customer care - won’t buy from here again

Unhelpful staff in Covent Garden

Unhelpful staff in Covent Garden. They were more interested in chatting and eating their smelly lunch than helping customers. Whenever we had a question we felt like we were disturbing them! We were glad to get out. Shame, as the store is lovely.

Well packaged and quickly posted out; extensive range of items. Main negative - in comparison to competitors - is the lack of free returns. It has cost me a lot to return a few unsuitable items due to their high value (standard compensation of £20 is nowhere near what I needed, so was left significantly out of pocket). Due to this, I will return to use other dance wear shops in the future.

I have had new tap shoes. Absolutely gorgeous. Fabulous fit. Well made. Excellent sound. They were posted out and packed very well. Excellent shoe from an excellent company. Will definitely be ordering of them again.

My visit couldn't have been more successful.

As a beginner, I needed a huge amount of help to choose. Josh was a real star. he was so patient, helpful and attentive. My experience couldn't have been better. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and the shoes weren't that expensive, so my visit was a complete success.

Excellent and efficient customer care

The quality of the products is great and the customer support polite and efficient. There was a small issue with one item and I was given a voucher for next purchase. My partial return was handled efficiently. Only negative thing is the returns policy (long processing times and paying for the return yourself), but this is clearly explained on the website.

Even though I measured using the sizes online, the clothes come up very small. Also you have to pay for your own returns and can’t return online purchases in stores

The product is great but the 20%…

The product is great but the 20% discount offered that I’d entered did not come off ( I didn’t realise that it hadn’t untill after the transaction had gone through) . I emailed to see if it could be paid back onto my card, but it wasn’t allowed . As it was just a mistake this seemed really harsh and not good for customer relations and would put me off using the company again
