Finally we got the bike ordered after more than a week has been delayed. Anyway, I appreciate your immediate support and re-solve after I sent the feedback.
Bike is perfect, customer service needs a lot of work. When no contact made from retailer Brompton told me that maybe the shop was busy or short-staffed and that I should contact them directly. Upon collecting bike, I think all that had been done was to unpack the box as the battery bag and battery would not fit. Upon getting home, discovered plastic cover had not been removed. Can’t fault the bike but I may as well have had it delivered directly as I then wouldn’t have had to use Brompton ‘customer service’. A real shame as the product is top-notch.
Their bikes are great but unfortunately they are let down badly by their aftercare and customer service. I’ve had a couple of issues with my Brompton and both times have been fobbed off and told to sort the issues out myself. If chunks of paint coming off isn’t covered under warranty then I’m not sure what is. Worth considering this before making a purchase.
I’m happy with my C and I’m thinking about having a T, but when a junction in Malaga, Spain??

After spending a little shy of £4000 on a Brompton electric P line bicycle i found i had over tightened the bolt which holds the saddle to the post. I called Brompton customer service to be told they do not carry the bolt as a spare (a blot that would cost no more then £2 ) I was informed to buy a complete new assembly pentacilp which was £45 !! All i needed was a bolt which i was happy to pay for. Customer service then informed me to try 'Radio Spares' which sells a box of 20. I only needed one. For a company that charges an absolute premium for their product i would have expected a better approach to helping the customer acquire a simple steel bolt. The corporate line is " ......sorry it's not stocked as a spare..." Maybe good manners and customer service would be just to post one out with a charge for administration and postage as opposed to squeezing the customer for more sales on an item that is not needed. Extremely poor service for a British based company -

Order processing was smooth and efficient. I was kept updated and the item was delivered within the promised timeline. However the quality of the pedal is not what I would expect from Brompton. Before even putting it on the bike, it feels "gritty" when rotating it. Our 2011 pedals are far smoother.

I've owned several Bromptons. Excellent designs that keep getting better. Only way to improve on the new P Line Electric 12 speed is to make a Titanium version. Top notch. Woof woof.
Wanted to order direct,first told to order through a supplier in Malaga and paid .Then told had to order and pay direct .Bike delivered not to me but to the store in Malaga ,
Brompton toolkit was delivered damaged. Replaced straight away without any problems.
