Avoid. This is a UK company, so you have no Irish customer rights. Also since UK is not the member or EU anymore, you don't event have basic EU customer rights. I checked it and get this information from CCPC, they really cannot help any conflict resolution. Long story short: I bought a refurbed computer and it went wrong. Of course I reported it. Later they collected it and after nearly 2 months they informed me that the warranty is over. Refurbed computers have different warranty periods, and (of course) this information is not indicated on the invoice. The whole issue resolution is a terrible joke. I trigger the whole process, writing them emails, and they do basically nothing and just send me back excuses. For example they promised to collect the computer 5 times, and nothing happened. Terrible experience. Never again.

Prices weren't too bad, delivery service was excellent and they have a great stock of items, the only reason I'm not giving 5 Stars is that I purchased 3 big items for my kitchen and there was no discount at all, whereas if you buy them in the shops you get a discount.
I ordered a cooker hood and dishwasher. The cooker hood arrived damaged. I contacted customer service and they said it would be picked up in 72 hours and they would contact me the day before to confirm. 72 hours came and went so I emailed customer service. They then said they would have it collected within 10 days and appeared to have no record of the previous arrangement for within 72 hours. A courier then showed up at my house unannounced and my builder handed over the cooker hood. I contacted customer service as I had no prior notice. They appeared not to have any record of this collection and started asking me for reference numbers from the courier company. I have now contacted by email multiple times and am getting no where. Everyone I speak to has no information on the courier collection. It appears it has been lost which I cannot understand as it was arranged by your company. The item cost 1200 and I need that amount to be refunded. Terrible customer service - would really not recommend.
Very good price and service
Got a bed and mattress. Great price and both good quality. Very happy with both. Delivery was within the stated time so all good there. I ordered both at the same time and they work together but were delivered days apart. I'd rather have just 1 delivery of both together save the milage. Also no tracking of delivery so it's a phone call shortly before arrival which could catch people put

Ordered a washing machine and a dryer on the 24th of April, Buyitdirect said it would be with me on the 9th of May. I know it's only 4 days late, but these are appliances that are needed, and I'm still waiting for a delivery date and time. There is no way to contact customer service through their website, that I can see. I posted this because I see there are some Buyitdirect employees answering some reviews and maybe they can help with my query! Update! Thanks for the reply Dyann. Is that 3 weeks from when l ordered, 3 weeks from the delivery date or 3 weeks from this reply? Why do you give a delivery date that you know you will not honour? It feels like a type of false advertising. Why is it so impossible to reach a customer service representative? In this age of technological communication, there is no excuse for not having a phone number or an email for such. Again, thanks for the prompt reply.

Bed is good but worse delivery for Ireland. Worst delivery service especially after paying 74 euros for delivery. It took way longer then i was supposed to get the bed. No updates at all from delivery company. They have no tracking. I don't know why BuyItDirect uses them. Delivery company called randomly 10 mins before the delivery and i was at work. Had to arrange someone to receive the bed. Left the boxes on the floor refused to take it upstairs. Read the other review on google and other all customers have same complaints. BuyItDirect should look at better alternative. Bed I received was good and as expected. Good value for money.
