Never received my order

Never received my order. Ordered on April 20th. No tracking updates almost a month later. I have sent numerous emails to Caskers and shipping service and gotten no information about package location or delivery date. I have asked for a refund and they have not provided it. They still have not told me where my package is or if it is lost. Never again

I have been a fan of Caskers for a while. One thing to note, if they cannot access the bottle(s) you ordered, they are slow to notify you. But all in all, they have been superb!!

Horrible shipping / customer service

Been almost three weeks since I placed my order. They are unable to provide accurate shipping information and their last update consisted of saying that they “expect movement” “by the end of the week approximately” - whatever that means.

I’m Now A Caskers Regular

I’ve ordered from Caskers several times. First, of all the mail order sites I’ve looked at Caskers is the easiest to navigate and has the best availability. Prices are fair and sometimes bargains compared to NJ. They also provide very clear descriptions. Heck other sites don’t even say what proof it is! That’s the good news. Shipping is a challenge. They source their bottles from around the country and there are tie ups. OK I’m used to it now and when I place an order I just sit back and remain patient. Might take a month, that’s fine I expect that now. The bottles do not come all at once and the more bottles I order the more complex delivery becomes. Just before they reach the local transit site I’m notified of expected delivery date. When the bottles reach the local transit site I know from experience when UPS or Fed Ex will be here.

I ordered a nice bottle of Blanton's for a gift. It arrived, the bottle having leaked. The packing was marginal at best. The bottle was to go to Japan, but you can't really pack a leaky bottle in your checked baggage... I opened a conversation with caskers. The person helping was engaging and nice, even commenting that the Angels had certainly taken their share, based on the photo that I had sent. Her supervisors offered 30 caskers points, but would not replace the bottle. I got a call tag for return, but they expected me to drive 1 hour from my shop to drop off the box. They would not pick it up. A disappointing experience. Don't order from them. No support if anything goes wrong. And for a $400 bottle of Bourbon, I expect better.

My experience feels like an April Fool's Day joke, but it wasn't

I ordered two products from Caskers two weeks ago (neither of these are one-of-a-kind products). Within the week the shipment was on its way, yee-haw. Without boring you with shipping drama (FedEx, big surprise), the salient detail is that enroute to my location, the shipment was damaged and re-routed to the shipper. I heard nothing from Caskers about this other than inaccurate updates about the delivery date (apparently Caskers did not receive notice the shipment was damaged). I then contacted Caskers Customer service and was told a new shipment would be sent out asap. Great. Until I later received an email from Caskers telling me my money was being refunded. Since that was contradictory information, I again contacted Caskers and asked what was happening - refund or replacement shipment? The answer was a kind apology telling me I should not have been refunded after being told a replacement shipment was being sent, and that "the vendor" (I assume the original fulfiller) was unable to fulfill my order, and that Caskers was "committed to resolving this situation promptly and satisfactorily for you." So I waited a few days wondering what that meant - did it mean Caskers was going to get another vendor to fulfill my order? What exactly was going to happen to satisfactorily resolve the situation? I again contacted Caskers asking for clarification since at that time I had not received a refund, but that it seemed the products I ordered are still available as the website showed them as available for purchase if I pretended to place yet another order. Finally, two+ weeks later, Caskers let me know they are not fulfilling my order because "the vendor" can't ship to my state. I interpret this to mean Caskers is unable (or unwilling?) to use multiple vendors to fulfill orders with multiple items that one single vendor may not be able to fulfill. If I were to speculate, this would be because the shipping Caskers charges you would only cover one shipment. Sounds like a Caskers problem and not a customer problem. A customer should be able to place an order and rely upon the business to do what it takes to fill the order if they accepted the order. Caskers is basically telling me they don't want my money, because they are unable to manage their network of vendors in order to fulfill orders. I had also initially told Caskers customer service I had purchased the items for a special person's event and time was a factor; Caskers acknowledged that and still gave me the vague answer of "I should not have received two different conflicting pieces of information", without telling me which one was correct. Wasted time, wasted effort. Will not purchase from Caskers again.

Good luck getting your order

Good luck getting your order! I've been waiting one month! All they say is I should have canceled the order within the first 3 days of order. Didn't realize I'd be waiting over a month!! They keep charging my account to and then crediting it. That's been done over three times!!

Fantastic experience

Having what I wanted, at a price that was fair, I'll order from Caskers again! I'd ordered 2 bottles of bourbon, one cam in from the east coast, the other from the west. Each were well packaged.

Do not use this company. Can't reach a human when they fail to ship your order.

I ordered champagne for my brother's birthday. The website says will ship in 1-5 business days. After 5 days, and no shipping notification, I sent an email. The "chat bot" answered and said it was shipped. Waited a couple more days, called company. No answer- they say to email them. Several emails over couple of days only answered by bots. Several phone calls- machine says to email. Unable to reach anyone and wondering if this is a scam. 2 weeks later, after my brother's birthday (and no champagne), emailed and told them to cancel order. A human (maybe?) answered, apologized and said I would be refunded in 1-3 days. I called credit card company and filed a dispute. 3 days later, same human(?) emails and says "We just shipped it". Several hours later (and 3 days after cancelling and promising refund) I was notified that the item shipped. We don't want it anymore.

Ordered 5 bottles of blackberry crown

Ordered 5 bottles of blackberry crown, got a tracking number that does not work. Was told my order shipped three weeks ago and still not here. They will not answer a phone and use a robot to answer emails. Will not order from them again and will not recommend them to anyone.

I tried ordering two bottles of old rip 10 year bourbon. I received confirmation of the order then nothing from them. i had to reach out to get further response which was please email us photos of your driver's license and credit card. I immediately questioned this and tried to order from another company and did so with no issue. They then claimed it was because i had never ordered from them prior which was incorrect, i actually placed order from my account that i had used in the past. Obviously, i did not comply and they kept emailing me asking me to do so. I would say this is a scam or they simply didn't have the items. either way, i would avoid this outfit unless you want foreigners getting your private information. Edit- to the reply, I used account I used prior. These people are making crap up to cover their shady practices. No one asks for pictures of IDs and credit cards to be emailed. This is crazy and even more outrageous that they try to defend this. Again, unless you want a bunch of foreigners to get pictures of your IDs and credit cards, avoid at all costs. Yes, the people who reached were foreigners.

False advertising and they don't give a care about your as a customer

Ordered a hard to get mezcal from the site, only site that offered it, except they didn't offer it because it was never delivered. Over a month late, it took two emails to even get someone from customer service to reach out, and when they did, all platitudes, oh it was delayed, lost, and now "oh we can't get it for you." After a month of wrangling, finally got a refund and a $10 coupon for my trouble. Pathetic, when I went harder at them on email, because they can't be bothered with true customer service or a phone number, they up it a bit. Pathetic, my prediction they will go the way of Drizly. You can't treat customers this way and expect to make it. Terrible, I can't begin to tell you how much they need to learn. Good bye and good riddance
