The food was fantastic
Fast delivery. Amazing food. Gluten free which is essential for me being coeliac, not full of trans fats. My local takeaway have lost out to this, as has another online Indian food company. Another order being placed this weekend so that I may enjoy some other dishes.
Quality of Food, Packing and Quick Delivery
Have to say these curries are very good teased much nicer than my local takeaways and would recommend them.
The package with frozen curries and rice was delivered in very good frozen condition with no damage to any of the frozen packs. All the food very delicious and portions were very generous.
We have eaten 2 of the curries, one Prawn and a lamb biriani. There was plenty of curry and we liked the amount of spice.
The curries are rich and spicy. Biryanis are also rich and tasty. Good for a treat but could not eat such richness on a daily basis. Be nice for variety to increase or rotate.

Had the low carb selection box. Really enjoying them all so far, served with lightly roasted cauliflower instead of rice. Full of meat and very tasty. Highly recommend.

Delicious, not too heavy and efficiently delivered in excellent cooled packaging
Purchased a range of meals and slowly getting through them. The taste is great and we intend to buy again. A slight drawback with anything frozen is a bit of excess fluid when defrosted/cooked.. this can be drained off before the final stir and serve. Very pleased to have discovered Chef Akila .. very good service, generous in portion and good value.
