My review relates to the staff at Select clothing store at 2 Market Gates Shopping Centre, Great, Yarmouth. I purchased an item in store whilst on holiday and when I returned home I realised I had lost a key ring charm which had sentimental value to me. I rang round where I had been and found that it was handed in to this Select store. The Manager was incredibly kind and posted the item to me at my home address. I am so grateful to the Manager and the staff at this store for their great customer care.
All the staff at Telford, Shropshire are efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and well trained. A key attribute is they listen - a rare skill these days but much appreciated by this older customer. Nothing is too much trouble.
Laptop was delivered 20 days after ordering, originaly orderd a midnight color then recived an email after 16 days that there would be a further 2 week delay.. so I called and asked is there any help I could get to get the laptop sooner, to which the support person said "what do you mean".. I mean can I get my laptop sooner than a month after I orderd it! They then checked and told me there was one available in the store near me in a different color, I said I'd take it, then an hour later I see on the site the original color was "in stock, ready to ship" so I call again and they say oh yes you can have the original delivered by Tuesday now.. a more proactive support should be provided when spending so much for something. I shouldn't have to call to find out I could have a different color in the store 10 minutes from me, and shouldn't have to call again when my actual preference is back in stock. Overall very poor support.
I went to the Telford store to try to resolve a problem with my Mac that Apple customer service had failed on several attempts to fix. Steph is the manager and she went above and beyond to try to help. She seems to run a great team there and I would certainly trust her knowledge and experience to resolve problems that need a bit more than the usual expertise.
Phoned customer service today @ 16.23pm 29/4/24 0818668888. I asked Sophie, a customer service question, a very basic general policy question, to which surprisingly she replied “Let me check that” & left me holding the line. After a total of exactly 1 hour on the phone, she had failed to come back.
Very impressed with service.Phone delivered next day too!

Really helpful staff in store who spent lots of time helping me transfer data over to a new iPad. They lost a star due, in my opinion, to them having an over complicated and a bit glitchy website.

Bought and paid for new MacBook with AppleCare online with pickup at Select store in York. The VAT invoice given by the shop erroneously charged for FREE warranty, training and services. I was promised to receive an amended invoice by email in a couple of days but never received that, despite sending several reminders I need a correct VAT invoice as this is a business laptop. Also I paid extra for AppleCare which still, 2 weeks later, has not been confirmed by Apple. Disappointed
