Free shipping took over a week.:( SSD speed is slightly faster than a regular hard drive on my older system. Drive slowed down after putting more data on it. I really like the Crucial Storage Executive Software! No bloat and supports legacy hardware, unlike Samsung and WD Nothing blazing fast, but the Software works on legacy hardware, and it is a solid drive.

Crucial has always been the top of my list for storage and memory. I always give them first nod to provide my needs. The NVMe for the notebook was incorrect and they promptly issued an RMA. However, the NVMe did work in another computer, so I kept it. It is running excellently in the new machine. I will talk with them regarding the correct NVMe for the notebook. I am certain Crucial will provide me with the correct solution. Many thanks!!!
Easy to get what I needed. That's all I need.
Easily able to increase my RAM in 2 computers. Had to remove the graphics card to add the solid state storage. All in all, not a very difficult task. Would order from Crucial again.

While the SSD works fast, the cloning of the hard drive to the SSD was somewhat of a failure. The cloning is not 100% effective. My computer no longer boots up correctly. I have to wait a few minutes then hit the Esc key to activate the Windows 10 program. While the computer does work, it is not work the same as before the cloning and the installation of the MX500 2TB SSD HD.
You ability to identify the upgrades i need, along with the quality of your products make you the best. I have not purchased outside of crucial for a wile now.
For many years I have used Crucial as a source for memory and SSDs. This SSD was not an exception to the high quality with performance as expected.
Used tool from Crucial to determine exact memory needed for touch desktop. Ordered max mem for 2 banks and received within 2-3 bus days. Installed, boot-tested, now saved $$ over having to buy new computer vs up'ing 6 yr old one!

Shipping was slow.
I disliked the surprise shipping fee and associated customer service message when the cart said there was a $0.00 fee. I disliked that I had chosen to go directly to Crucial's website rather than to Amazon despite the slightly higher product cost on Crucial's website. Amazon would have been free shipping and slightly cheaper product. The RAM and SSD themselves are good so far. No surprises with regards to product quality. Maybe don't buy directly from Crucial.
Easy to find and great quality products
