It's a fabulous company! I love its mission, ethical stance, and inclusivity. As a 54-year-old woman, it was inspiring to see myself reflected in some of the photographs of the diverse range of models. Their clothes are of high quality and have a timeless feel. I would recommend Finisterre to everyone, regardless of their age or body size. I am pleased there is a store in London where I live.

I haven't received the product yet - this is not a product review. Having been disappointed by having my blue light discount rejected I was pretty delighted that a member of staff called and apologised and gave me the discount via a partial refund. This was great customer service! Tbh I'm pretty sure the product itself is good (2mm rubber zip up jacket for open water swimming) as it was recommended to me by a fellow swimmer - I look forward to receiving it!
I had a couple of issues with the zips on a coat I purchased from Finisterre. I got in contact with customer services via email and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Despite having the coat for just over a year, I was offered a refund or replacement as the zip had clearly failed in a manner not expected from normal wear and tear. I opted for a replacement as I love the coat and would find it difficult to replace like-for-like from elsewhere. Top marks! Fully satisfied customer. Thanks again to all at Finisterre.
Bought the Rainbird jacket. In terms of being waterproof, light and stylish it was good, however, after one season of wear the inside started to deteriorate, the coating came off in chunks and left white bits all over my clothes. For this reason I gave a 2 and wouldn't recommend.
I had an issue with a tear in a bag. very impressed I was with the service I received. All communication was clear, informative and the ‘can do’ attitude fantastic. Feedback all the way through the process. The rapair looks amazing as well. Keep up the good work.
Purchased my second pair of Yarrel trousers today - the denim ones. Yarrels are the best trousers I have found in years - actually have a neat fit on the waist and room at the hip! I've worn my first pair loads - super comfy and a great cut! ( I do have to roll the hem up because I don't have model length legs unfortnately! )
I bought a few Finisterre items over the last 7 years and loved most of them. The quality has gone down hill yet somehow the prices remain astronomical. I ordered a rain coat that had the same name as the rain coat I wore for years, except the design has changed. If you put anything in the pockets, it bulges out and looks horrid, if you have a modern phone (bigger than they used to be), it will stick out as well. The sizing is odd, I ordered exactly the same size as the old coat and it fit completely different, very unflattering. It's slightly too big in some areas, but if I put a thin jumper on I look like the Michelin man and can't move my arms. My mistake was to not return it for a refund straightaway, I am now trying to sell it online for under half of what I paid for it. Before you could get good wear out of a Finisterre item and still resell it for good value. Now, no one seems interested unless it sells for under £50. Considering I paid £200 (in the sale!!!) for it, it's not great. Lesson learned. Stop caring about the logo if the quality is crap. Seeing the massive MADE IN CHINA label was the final straw.
I spoke to Sophie in Customer services and explained my difficulty sourcing one of your Farne crew neck jerseys in a small enough size. She went to significant trouble to track the last one down which was in your St Ives store and it has since been dispatched, arrived safely and is much appreciated (the perfect fit). I feel she went above and beyond with her helpfulness and I am very grateful.

I've been buying Finisterre for a couple of years now and always love the quality of the products. When I occasionally visit the Edinburgh store, the staff are always super friendly and helpful. Great brand.
Completely outraged. Just dropped €160 on a Finisterre fleece only to find it's made in China. With the eco and ethical values they flaunt, this is a slap in the face. At this price point, and with their supposed commitment to sustainability, manufacturing in China is a total contradiction. Absolutely not what I signed up for. This isn’t about nuances; it’s about fundamental values. Finisterre, you've lost the plot and my trust.
First, the quality of the clothes is excellent. I bought the Stormbird waterproof jacket. The fit is perfect and so far it has kept me dry the worst of our recent wet weather. I also bought the Firecrest jacket. I love it and have had lots of compliments on it. Second the quality of service is truly brilliant. I made a mistake on some paper work and It was sorted out straightaway by Jack. Thanks Jack!
Sadly the company appear to have sold out to poor quality and cheap materials, which is somewhat ironic given their belief in sustainability. I've been a customer for years and most of my old Finisterre clothing is still wearable. It’s the last few years where quality has dived and the new stuff just isn’t lasting or looking good. I’ve had t shirts developing holes, socks shrinking on the first wash which are now unwearable, two lovely over shirts - both shrunk. A long sleeve t shirt - shrunk and logo faded after ONE wash. They used to manufacture in Portugal using quality materials but low cost and low quality sources have come in under the radar - Bangladesh, Turkey and notably China, while they’ve increased their prices. I also suspect they heavily filter reviews on their website as you need to be “invited” to review an item. Most of the stuff I have a problem with I cannot review and I’d say many of those 5 star reviews are from people who haven’t yet washed their items!
I spotted a really nice fleece online which I intended to order. Unfortunately I delayed a little too long and of course found that my size was no longer there! I consulted customer services and the team at Finisterre were able to source one for me. 😊
