Firstly, I love Joe & Seph's popcorn and buy bags for gifts. This year, everyone was given a savoury (my faves esp Blue Cheese, Celery & Walnut!) and a sweet. I needed the first batch I ordered pretty quickly. There was certainly enough info about posting during the busy Christmas period but I did reach out for a push in time for a gift swap which was no problem. It arrived on time, as did my second order. I took advantage of the discount. Without knowing about either of our purchases, I was sent a video from my sister in Boston of a Joe & Seph's giant cracker being pulled! Had I looked further, I would have bought one also. They loved it. Next year...Great customer service and popcorn is always a treat. Wishing a fab 2024 to all the team.
Chocolate pop corn. Tasteless popcorn and a bit of cheap milk chocolate! For the price if this tiny packet you could buy at least two decent bars of Tesco hazel nut milk chocolate. A total waste of money.
I was bought one of the milk chocolate popcorn star boxes for Christmas and noticed that my gift giver had left the price on the bottom corner £9. Opening the box I find a small peanut styled bag containing a meager 105 g of the product, couldn't be right surly?? So, I read the packaging about the gourmet side of the business and was expecting a chocolate popcorn delight! But NO very average, if anything the corn was a little soft. I rarely comment on Trust pilot but I thought I should check on the reviews. To my surprise it had about 75% positive reviews and a four star rating. Pretty good, although short of the aim to be producing the best popcorn/chocolate combination in the world. Now don't get me wrong it's got chocolate on it, so I'm going to eat it, will I buy any more at £8 plus £1 for a gift? Not a chance. I would far prefer a bar of quality chocolate and some butterkist for a third of the price and more quantity. Even if the whole star had been filled with the product instead of 85% fresh air, it would have been over priced. If it's the hand made aspect that is making these £8+ take my advice, get a machine to push the popcorn into the chocolate and halve the price, you will sell more. One further note,if this product is hand made why did one of the stars contain an unpopped piece of corn? Sorry but it's a no from me.
Great popcorn! I had a small issue with my advent calendar 2023. Having had calendars the previous years it was a little disappointing. However, my issue was swiftly resolved and within a coupe of days I was enjoying even more delightful popcorn. Thank you Sara.
I forgot to claim my first order discount but was pleasantly surprised that the company reminded me and refunded it through PayPal. Thank you! More importantly, the popcorn looks great in its retro glass jar. I'm sure my son will love it.
After purchasing the advent calendar and been let down with the popcorn being soggy and stale . I can honestly say customer service is a 100% customer focused . So apoligetic and arranged for a christmas box to be sent out to us . The popcorn is so tasty and delicious, totally made up for the disappointment in the calendar, shame too as the calendar concept is awesome but hey these things happen . Problem quickly solved . Thanks again Sarah at customer service.
I've been a fan of this company's popcorn for a few years and consider it a proper treat. I had a small issue with a product, dropped them a line, and they got straight back to me. They gave really good customer service and I left the whole experience totally satisfied and more than happy to recommend the company on.
we had a bad experience with the advent calendar, the popcorn was soft and tasted stale. I contacted customer services and Sarah got in touch really quickly and was amazing. Explained they'd had a few problems with one of the batches this year and offered a different options to me to make up for it. We went with the gift box which arrived a few days later and was the Joe & Sephs popcorn we know and love, I have to say it hasn't lasted long, absolutely delicious. It was unfortunate the advent calendar wasn't as it should be but the excellent customer services more than made up for it.
I've purchased advent calendars from Joe and Seph for the past 3 years and have always had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately this year it appears there was an issue with one of the batches which meant their popcorn wasn't as perfect as it usually is. When I realised our Advent Calendar was one of the affected I contacted support and spoke with Sarah F. She was absolutely wonderful, incredibly kind, very quick to respond and polite. A credit to the customer support team.
Not sure about the regular popcorn products, but my wife got me the Advent Calendar and frankly the popcorn is dire. It might as well be flavoured cardboard. Just seems completely stale. I thought maybe it was out of date, but no. Hugely disappointing, no point in opening any of it now in all honesty,
My mum has bought me the advent calendar - 4 days in and each bag has had soft almost mushy popcorn… not gourmet and I’m really quite disappointed and don’t have the heart to tell my mum Edit - got in touch with the team and they have arranged to resolve this, great customer service!
I can not say enough about Jo and Steph's company, especially Sarah in the customer service department, I ordered for my Neice the Christmas popcorn in a big stocking, as she is poorly to cheer her up she loves Jo and Steph's popcorn. Unfortunately my order went astray via Royal Mail, Sarah was amazing and has looked after me. New order on the way.
It’s just a pity you can’t do
My wife and I just tried some of the salted caramel Popcorn and wow - it amazing. It's so light and moreish, I'm just amazed at how good they are. I'm looking forward to trying the items I've ordered.
We had the salted caramel popcorn which was delicious! We shared a bag and couldn’t stop eating until it was empty. I’m always so impressed by all the flavours they produce, over 90! Last Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a Joe & Seph popcorn advent calendar, a different flavour every day and what a great way to try them out too! Gourmet popcorn at its best. Totally scrummy!
The best, nothing else to say
Best popcorn ever!!!!!
Had the toffee and the sweet and salty flavours. Both were excellent, tasty, no unpopped corn and so good, I had to eat the whole bag in one sitting. Every large piece was coated in exactly the right amount of flavouring. Definitely try them…don’t miss out!
Aldi are selling Creme Brulee Joe&Sephs popcorn for £1.99 per 550g bag. I snapped one up on their reputation. Well, it was nothing like I have seen on QVC where the popped kernals are huge. What I got was tiny popcorn pieces that tasted nice but not as good as cheaper popcorn, like Butterkist, and it was quite dry rather than buttery. If this was an example of Joe&Sephs actual product, as opposed to the hyped, TV shopping channel offerings, then I would say, something is amiss & it seems like they may be producing a different product for TV presentations to what you get in an actual, off the shelf bag. Very disappointed & will not be buying it again & I was considering ordering some until this experience proved it is not as good as they say & is not worth the high asking price charged by shopping channels.
Creme brulee NOT! Waste of money buy butterkist
