I needed a new iPad so I went to the John Lewis shop in Nottingham . my first ever visit And I was pleasantly surprised, I’m getting on in years I can remember when we could walk into a shop and an assistant would come over and ask if you needed any help as they do in John Lewis .. the assistant was very helpful and I got my new tablet.. so please don’t ever change what you are doing .. I will certainly shop there again

Poor customer service. I used to enjoy shopping instore at john lewis, but their online shopping experience is not good - returns especially are painful, taking almost a month before refund is issued for returned items and only after dozens of emails back and forth.
Always a great shopping experience with John Lewis. Goods arrived quickly in excellent condition.
We were wanting to buy a TV and PVR but needed some help regarding features etc. We really appreciated the time 2 staff took with us showing the difference between TVs and even changed the settings on the floor models to demonstrate picture and sound. We also appreciate the long guarantee John Lewis gives which is in striking contrast to some other companies. We were happy to pay extra to have the TV set up and the person who did so again was extremely helpful, friendly and expert!

I always buy from John Lewis because I know I am getting the best customer service available. I bought a TV which was very disappointing so I went into store to complain. They listened to my list of complaints & very willingly exchanged it for another brand TV which is perfect. Delivery was on time & guys very helpful carrying it upstairs. A very satisfied customer.
Normally we are huge fans of John Lewis, but on this occasion feel badly let down, Our Curry’s essential own brand dishwasher, £140.00 purchased 9 years ago, simple to use, worked perfectly until the beginning of March and finally died, We decided to purchase a top of the range BOSCH, with enough buttons to land someone on the moon. We purchased the machine on line, waited 14 long days for delivery, and chose to install it ourselves saving the £90 install fee. All seemed fine the first couple of times then we found it wouldn’t accept the selected program, turn off & on seemed to solve the problem, then it stopped working altogether, despite following the endless instructions it just wouldn’t start. We then called JL and went through the same process again and again before the advisor said, we will need to book an engineer, the earliest available engineer was in 3 weeks, we’d only had the machine 2 weeks, nothing we could do other than wait. The engineer finally came and despite a lot of head scratching and replacing numerous parts, he declared the machine faulty and needed to be replaced, but that had to be authorised by BOSCH, yet more phone calls to our dear friends at JL, this model is out of stock, will be in 2 weeks, we are eagerly awaiting the engineer and a brand new working appliance to arrive on Monday 13 May, despite the machine being out of action for longer than it was working, we almost had to beg JL to take responsibility and arrange the delivery and waive the £90 install fee. Let’s hope this one works, if not Curry’s own brand here we come..purchased 18th March, being replaced 13th May. Been out of action and no dishwasher for 7 weeks, great service.
Delivery was terrible and fell well short of what I expected. It was due for click and collect, however was delayed. Then I was emailed to say items damaged/lost and wouldn't turn up and to call JL to get refund or reorder. When I did call, I was told my parcel was waiting pick-up, but I had no email to say this. Eventually collected parcel, but returned one item as not suitable. Really has put me off ordering online from JL again.
John Lewis has Gone way down Hill, me and my wife shop here regularly..we bought a OLED tv from the John Lewis store, it turned out faulty after a year. We have warranty and the after care has been absolutely appalling they sent out a repair team and they changed the main board. I even took a day off work too…..after the repair we still had problems when I called, they sent another company to change the main board again I was so puzzled…why would you change the main board twice we have no volume and I’m sat here with a faulty tv and John Lewis still hasn’t got back to me I’m still waiting. I’m really disappointed with John Lewis after care service…the customer service is absolutely terrible don’t even talk English…John Lewis was never like this before never expected a service like this we payed them big money for good TV and now we are facing so many problems.
Easy to navigate website. Efficient delivery. Easy to return some items as they did not fit me well, but did keep 1xitem and am very happy with my 100% cotton pyjamas.

Paid for furniture to be assembled, no one came to assemble so I did myself. Customer services were very good and refunded me but I wasn't happy that the service wasn't provided. On the same order, I had a set of pans delivered and one of the lids did not fit. Overall not the John Lewis service of old.
