Josh was wonderful and informative. The watches are beautiful and now I have a functional memento of my Edinburgh trip.
I wanted a very specific design and Filip took the time and trouble to source this for me. He and Dale made sure I got exactly what I was after and their service was very thoughtful and personal.

Hi didnt know what to expect as this was a 50th gift from my daughters From the minute my wife and i walked into the store Georgina was so friendly and her knowledge of Kartel and the watches was second to none If there was a new shop opening anywhere in the world the managers of Kartel would do well to put her in charge My experience here was 10 out of 10 and that was down to the excellent product and Georgina
Absolutely fabulous experience made even better by Georgina! My husband had received the experience as a gift and we didn’t know what to expect. From the minute we entered Georgina made us feel so welcome. Providing us with drinks and telling us all about the company. With absolutely no rush she showed us all the watch components and we whittled it down to a few. It was a hard choice as everything is so beautiful and classy. We loved it and would recommend this experience to anyone. Georgina is such an asset to your company….promote her! 😄 Thanks again Jude and Mark Wood.
The style and quality of Kartel watches are impressive but what is really noteworthy, and above and beyond expectation, is the excellent standard of customer service. Recently our original Kartel watch needed attention. Dale could not have been more helpful and attentive. This is what makes Kartel a stand out company to deal with. Thanks Dale.

The sales assistant Georgina was brilliant, so friendly and helpful and gave us loads of ideas to design my watch. We loved the idea we could choose from different combinations of faces and straps.
A very disappointing experience. Whilst I didn't expect to actually build a watch from scratch the experience is misleading as all it is is selecting a watch body and a strap and the girl in the shop "builds" it. I expected at the very least to meet an actual watchmaker like Steve in the Repair Shop on TV. The girl herself had only been with the company for 6 months. There was no beer in the shop and to have a cup of coffee meant she had to go across the road to get some milk as also no fridge. A greatly over-priced experience and waste of a morning.
Booked an experience at the Edinburgh shop. Customer service was amazing from the booking process. We had Josh for our experience and he was amazing customer service was amazing felt like we could have done the experience all day long. Would definitely recommend.
Me and my family came to get a watch made for our Dads 60th Birthday. We were served by Georgina. She took great care in telling us the details and giving us information on each watch. Georgina also was extremely patient as our Dad went through the different options, she was funny and gave us all a fantastic experience. There was a great selection of Watch faces and straps to choose from and adding an engraving made the watch extra special. First class customer service from Georgina, thank you!!
I have bought a number of watches over the last few years, and always had a great experience in the St Andrews shop.
I was gifted a watch experience. Josh, in Edinburgh took me and my wife through it. He was very professional throughout, providing us with interesting information and also time to stop and think about what we wanted. Georgina helped with the engraving and gave great advice on personalising the watch. We both really enjoyed it.
Georgina was excellent and really helpful and helped with our choice of watch for my husband's birthday. My husband is a wheelchair user and it was not easy for him to see the selection of watches but Georgina put the selection on a tray to let him see the choices which was really helpful. Georgina was really patient and did not rush my husband when he was choosing his watch.
Georgina was amazing on the day. Talked us through the history of the company and was extremely patient with my lack of decisiveness. This and the final Cuillin watch face and straps look great. Can’t recommend highly enough:)
Georgina was amazing. Was such a fun and unique experience learning all about the watches and the brothers and the history of watches in Scotland. The perfect gift and I can’t wait to go back to pick mine!
I had the Watch building experience with Josh in Edinburgh. He couldn't have been more welcoming & friendly. He made a decent coffee brew and after explaining the company history he went through all the various options I could have. Really enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours and at the end you have a bespoke quality watch, mine engraved as a birthday memory. Unique gift, Josh brilliant, book it !
We attended a watch making experience today in Kartel in Edinburgh for my partner. First class customer service from Josh made us feel welcome offered us drinks right away. Met Georgina as well who was also very friendly and welcoming. Josh gave us history of Kartel then showed us all the available watch faces, straps and buckles. Allowed my partner as much time as he needed to choose the right one. Josh then did his magic and created the perfect watch. Everything was so relaxed and perfect. Highly recommend as a special gift. Thanks for a lovely experience Josh and Georgina.
