Ordered 2 pendant lights from Lights4Living which arrived next day, unfortunately they were not suitable so I contacted them to arrange return. Richard was so helpful and responded to my e mail quickly and my refund was also processed quickly . I would definitely recommend this company for excellent customer service .

Amazing service & delivery of outside…

Amazing service & delivery of outside lights. 30% cheaper than the high end stores for exactly the same item & delivered the following day. I had one lamp out of 16 with broken glass. Replacement received the following day with no quibbles. Will definitely use again & would highly recommend.

Recently received delivery of a light…

Recently received delivery of a light shade at the cost of £86.00. The colour was not as described or illustrated on the website, therefore, doesn’t go with my colour scheme. Politely requested a refund, not at my cost, due to aforementioned. However, this was declined as apparently I didn’t “show anything to suggest that it was the wrong colour”. My understanding is that concrete is not brown, which the shade is. Very unprofessional, rude and disappointing attitude and response from this company. Avoid at all costs, particularly given the variety of other suppliers who supply same/similar products.

Fantastic Sellers

Lights4Living are great Sellers - I had a very good experience with them. The lights I ordered (2 ceiling and 4 wall lights) arrived very quickly and were well packaged. They looked exactly as the pictures shown and were as described. One of the wall lights appeared to be faulty as we couldn't get it to work. Upon contacting Customer Service and speaking to Beverley, who tried but was unable to resolve the issue over the phone, a return label was quickly dispatched and a new light sent out upon receipt of the returned light. The new light works perfectly and all of the lights look great now they're up. Excellent Customer Service and highly recommended seller. I would use them again without hesitation.

I purchased 3 Dome Lights about 5 years ago and moved twice and i lost one string and ball and i didn't know if they were still available and YES the Sales people found some so i ordered 2 sizes as they wasn't that expensive and now my light looks stunning again A job well done and i got them within 2/3 days as well and one extremely happy customer - From Jan

Horrible attitude and customer service

Hi Please avoid. I received downlight some of the downlight with bad ecstatic quality . It got reported . Apparently replacement has been sent but we never received it . Rang the supplier several time . We lost over 100 pounds. I spoke with very arrogant and rude staff member ( male) apparently one of managers. He said that some fault should be expected with downlight of that price ( reminding that we paid nearly £20 per each , not including fitting kit) which in our understanding wasn't cheap. He didn't take responsibility at all that that what happened and ended conversation as was 5 pm . I never came across of that sort of approach to customer . It was shocking . Maybe it was a fact that I was a foreigner what gave him confidence to treat me this way during conversation

Faulty Product

I ordered a 4 pendant lights at the start of April, which were shown as being in stock. I was then contacted to say that the items wouldn't be in stock until late May, which then slipped to early June, mid June and (finally) late June; this wasn't an issue in itself and is not the basis of the one star review I'm giving this company. Upon fitting the lights we noticed that one of the glass shades had a small bubble in it, while the other three were perfect. I contacted Customer Services and they were very helpful and organised for a new item to be checked and sent out to us - had this been the end of the story then this would be a 5 star review. Unfortunately, the replacement shade was significantly worse than the one that it had replaced - there were so many bubbles and blemishes on the glass that they were impossible to count. I got in touch with Customer Services again, expecting the same high standard of service I'd previously received - that wasn't the case... I received a response stating that the shade is hand blown and therefore blemishes and bubbles should be expected - nowhere on the item description does it state either of these things and, as far as I'm concerned, the fact that they replaced the original shade for the exact same reason is an acknowledgement of it being a defect. Add to that the fact that the other three shades are perfect and the explanation just doesnt add up. They also advised that goods must be inspected within 48 hours of receipt (I was a few days behind that in reporting it) - I appreciate that this may be the case if the item is damaged, which could have been through the fault of the supplier or the customer, but the issue we had was very much a defect in an item that had supposedly spent a couple of days being quality checked at their end. Additionally - I was advised with the first replacement that the reason for the 48hr window was to give the best chance of them sourcing a replacement - the item I have is still in stock on their website so I don't understand why this would be an issue. I'm now left in a position where I have a basically unusable item and will be almost £100 out of pocket if I have to purchase another. As a defective item, I would expect that the company would be required to refund or replace it under the Consumer Credit Act -as it is not of satisfactory quality - and I will be raising a dispute via my credit card company to that effect.

I worked at this company for 2 days and I can positively say they were 2 of the worst days of my life. The two bosses are the rudest people I've ever met in my life. They tried to say I damaged something and tried to avoid paying me.! I took my money at the end anyway.

After spending several hours choosing and ordering 7 different light fittings totalling over £600.00. taking care to order only items that the website listed as in stock. i received an email stating only 1 light was available for immediate dispatch. Lovely lights advertised but delivery times not accurate as advertised. cant comment on quality because cancelled order.

I bought matching 2 lights which…

I bought matching 2 lights which arrived in a timely manner. However, one had a rusty ceiling plate and a used screw and looked as though it had already been sent out and returned. I returned it, but the promised replacement didn't arrive. I chased it to discover all the remaining stock is damaged (but still on their website) and tried to flog me a damaged one for 20% off. I've given two stars rather than one to reflect the sales staff who did their best and I did get a prompt refund when requested. Wouldn't use again.

Lovely light and excellent customer service

I recently purchased a light from Lights4living. I needed to call Customer Services as we have a problem with a certain courier delivery. I also needed to check the length of the drop of the fitting. I spoke to Becky, who could not have been more helpful and even checked the length of the chain with the showroom, twice as I changed my mind of the fitting. Becky could not have been more helpful and provided exceptional customer service. The light was lovely too and has now been fitted. I look forward to ordering again very soon.

Excremental customer service

Wanted to order 2 light fitments totalling about £100. Website would not process any of my cards (checked and nothing wrong with any of them). I got in touch with the so-called Customer Services and spoke to Becky who could not care less and offered no solution. I then asked to close the account I had created and was told that this "would prevent me from placing future orders or registering again." I decided to proceed with this as their website would not let me place the order in the first place and Customer Services showed no interest in helping to resolve the issue - which was with their website and / or payment system. I will now look to order with Pagazzi, as while they may be more expensive, their website is functional and they do not provide the excremental customer service I experienced from Lights4Living. I suppose you get what you pay for.
