Here knowledge of the watches, and the history behind the brands was very good. This gave me the confidence in Mappin & Webb to purchase a used Tudor watch, and so far I’m very pleased with my purchase.
The customer service at Mappin & Webb in Fenchurch St is truly exceptional. All the staff are excellent and Sam in particular made me feel most welcome and treated me with the utmost care and attention. I myself will certainly return to the store and I would highly recommend them.

Ordered a watch which had an estimated delivery time of one week. Watch was further delayed when it apparently didn’t pass quality checks before dispatch. Cut to 10 days later (2 and a bit weeks from initial order) and a watch was delivered that has scratches on the bracelet. A poor process from start to finish considering it was me regularly chasing for updates rather than being contacted.

I am having to most dreadful time with this company. Particularly Customer Services, who you would think might be helpful. My husband bought a watch for my daughter’s birthday two weeks ago. Delivery was meant to be last week, this did not happen nor did an update on when we might get it. Have chased the showroom who were told by customer services it would be delivered today (day before my daughters birthday). But no delivery and no word from customer services even though I rang twice today and twice told a manager would be calling back! 🤬. We have now been left with no present for our daughter tomorrow and no explanation from Mappin and Webb. Will never order anything from them again.
Having seen the watch I wanted to purchase online initially, it was very difficult to get any further information from M&W about the actual watch. There were 2 identical watches but £400 price difference so I was keen on further information, however I was given inaccurate information from a “ Watch expert” Who knew less about the brand and model than I did during an online consultation. Furthermore, once I decided to purchase the watch it took nearly two weeks to deliver and delivery was attempted during a time period I had explicitly communicated that I would not be in the house. When the watch was eventually delivered, it was left on the doorstep by the courier, not what you would want for a luxury purchase.
