I order a set of bed linen: fitted sheet, pair of pillow cases, duvet cover. Sheet and pillow cases arrive, but in place of the duvet cover comes a woman's bra, size 38F! (Thanks, but I'm a 17 stone bloke, and cross-dressing ain't my thing.) I email Oxendales.ie's customer service, and get a reply asking for more details, so she can 'look into' the issue. (Already I'm getting alarm bells.) I send the information over, and I hear nothing more. So I request an update, and get what reads like a boilerplate reply from the 'Customer Service Team'. Eight days later: still nothing has happened, even a basic information update. (Clearly this epic problem has baffled their entire logistics network!) I demand an immediate response, but received exactly nothing. Over the last several months I've dealt with dozens of online suppliers, and their service has been almost universally impressive ~ in some cases remarkably so. Oxendales.ie's performance, on the other hand, has been in a category of ineptitude ~ and apparent indifference to their own reputation ~ unlike anything I've experienced. They failed to fulfill a simple order, and then disappeared like a ghost. Finally, almost two weeks after my notifying them, the value of the missing item was returned silently to my account. There was no attempt to resupply the item, explain the oversight, or even make any further human contact. (Mind you, they're not the only UK retailer who have a stellar reputation at home, then open an Irish operation which they basically run like s***.)

I was trying to find wide fitting sandals and came across such a good selection of stylish sandals. I had an issue with a return but Customer Care were excellent and compliments to Einstein, who went out of his way to facilitate my request. Note.... ROI returns are a little complicated perhaps an easier method would help
