Sofa covers were incorrectly measured then they had to go back for alterations which took ages and I was told different accounts each time - multiple times promised they were on their way when they were not. Everyone I spoke to blamed other parts of the company for the issues and when they eventually were sent out they were sent to the wrong address. No one calls back as promised. Very poor customer service.

Not v pleased with end fitting results. The covers were extremely creased and didn’t look great. I was told the creases would drop out!! They didn’t and had to iron them myself. Several years ago had another settee covered and the then previous lady fitter took greater care and ironed covers before fitting. What’s happened?

I have a Multi York settee and chair. As no wear or tear , although its 14 years old. I love it and decided to get Plumbs in. They did a fabulous job. That was down to the guy that took all the measurements. The settee they had a template for but not the chair. Plumbs made the template for the chair. Have to say they both look amazing. Plumbs kept me informed excelled customer service. I have to say I was so lucky as Mark thier representative was great. Also it was much cheaper than buying a new suite. Thank you Plumbs.

Plumbs were great and in particular their representative who visited us to suggest and measure up what we needed for our chairs. We did not have to wait long for the representative returned with our new covers. We were very pleased with the quality of the fit and particularly the efforts of the representative. I am delighted with my covers. They are beautifully made and have been much admired by family and friends. The service was excellent and the rep was polite and friendly. My only niggle was that the finished product took a good bit longer than was at first promised.
The curtains are well made, as you would expect for the price. It was nice to receive them ready to hang. They were a little longer than I requested but Plumbs have offered to rectify this but I am not too bothered. The packaging was appropriate and 99per cent eco friendly. The service throughout was personalised.
We had Lorraine come and visit from plumbs to advise on loose covers for 2 sofas. Excellent advice. Large choice of colours. Thorough measuring. No hard sell. We chose and Lorraine called 2 weeks later to arrange to come and fit them. We are delighted with them. I would recommend plumbs without hesitation. Very happy customers.

The Plumb's factory is in Preston (Lancs.) but they have local "consultants" who come and discuss your needs. Later, after you've decided and ordered, the consultant returns and measures up - carefully. 6-8 weeks afterwards he/she brings the finished product (in our case, made-to-measure covers for a worn armchair) and does the fitting. Ours fitted perfectly; I'm inclined to believe that this is the normal with Plumb's covers Quite expensive but worth it.
