I'm not used to reviewing something as simple as popping out to the corner shop for a pint of milk. Anyway that's as exciting as buying from Rapid is. Prices are always good but range of components not so.
Reasonable prices, huge range of products and quick delivery.
Despite ordering just before a bank holiday weekend, parts got to me early on the Tuesday, excellent!
Prices are good, components high quality and delivery lives up to the name, particularly if you buy more than £30 worth and get free postage!
I ordered two Norbar torque wrenches, and thought that the prices are outstanding. One was in stock, the other expected despatch was around a week. I checked up on the order, and found the expected despatch date to have moved, and was approximately two more weeks. As I was in desperate need of the torque wrench I contacted customer support to see if anything could be done to speed this up, but I got a very impersonal, generic response, that simply repeated the information I already knew (expected despatch date) Even a message saying, we are sorry, but there's nothing we can do to get it out to you sooner , would have been a better answer to my request. I would buy from Rapid Electronics again, but I'll gladly pay significantly more elsewhere if something isn't in stock, rather than trusting the expected shipping dates.

Have used Rapid a few times, they stock parts for the Weller irons I've been using since tech college, and frequently have some good bargains in the 'reduced' section. Delivery is fast and stock levels good.
