So far, my dealings on Reverb have been great. It's easy to buy and communicate, and indeed, easy to list items for sale. All the resources I would ever need to buy or sell gear are there, including shipping supplies. Satisfied customer/user here.
Reverb is great! I like being able to see new and used options for pretty much any item I am looking for, and there is always a wide range of price options across sellers. My favorite thing is the ability for vendors to offer discounts on items that I add to my favorites list. I have bought a decent amount of gear and instruments on Reverb, and almost everything I have purchased was after a vendor offered me a discount or had a great deal on a used/open box item.
I've used Reverb for buying and selling for a few years now and each transaction has been easy and assured. I totally feel I can rely on them and also the buyers/sellers that use them. I definitely feel it is less 'chancey' than Ebay.
Listed a guitar. Somehow created a shop (I am a private individual) and could not delete it. Had 2 weird emails asking me to verify via a QR code. Tried and failed. No customer support as it is "experiencing difficulties" for days! Useless and depressing for an older computer user.
In my opinion, Reverb absolutely deserves 5 stars! Firstly, it offers musicians a platform with a large and varied range of musical instruments and supplies. Selling and buying is really easy. The presentation is good, as is the use (performance, intuitive, etc.) and improvements are continuously being made. The service is excellent. I have had a few disputes with buyers and sellers, and the Reverb team has always assisted me well. She does a good job and communicates as she should. ...and yet the fifth star is under pressure for me. I now think the commission is really too high. In the beginning, reverb was for the musician, but I get the feeling that reverb is now more for the owner and shareholders. Anyway, as long as I notice that a lot of work is still being done on the site and services, the five stars will still stand.

I got their app 2 days ago. I got an email from them a few hours ago saying my account was under investigation and that it would be indefinitely....needless to say...after being on the app 1 day they called me shady...I'm glad I never spent a dime with them. Buy from Marketplace..at least you know that you are actually helping out someone who needs the money and not helping some fatcat buy his second Lamborghini.. Highly offended by these folks!!!!
A great platform, easy to use and secure but selling fees are fixed and I believe they should be decreasing significantly for values above, say, 1000$ Have used it a lot less since the past year

It’s super easy and reliable, even for those living and buying away from America….Im from Brazil and had no issues.
You can look for guitars from all around the world and usually find exactly what you are looking for in a one stop shop sight and they make it so easy to complete your purchase.

The website itself is good, as long as you don’t need customer service. When you do have an issue, customer service will just say “we’re looking into it, we’ll email you” and will end the web-chat. Then you talk to them days later after not getting any emails, they say the exact same thing as last time. A week later - they ask for more details so they can “start looking into it” - even though they said they were already looking into it… it’s a fake customer service that can’t actually escalate real issues any further. If they can’t fix the problem themselves while you’re talking to them, then it will never be solved - they’ll just say “we’re looking into it”. I spoke to them about 20 times in 2 weeks and got nowhere each time. I have all the chats sessions with them saved.
Ridiculous selling fees, ripped sellers off even they didn’t sell on it
You are not going to find a wider variety of collectibles, at incredibly competitive prices, anywhere else. All my purchases have been awesome. When I did have shipping problems with one vendor Reverb mediated and got the merchandise shipped that day. I had not thought about becoming a collector but I am leaning that way now.
Reverb is a great place to buy a wide variety of quality new or used musical gear at great prices.

It's an awesome website and the fact that we have options to pay is the most awesome thing I love about it since most of us can't afford it with straight cash we resort to payments which is available to us, plus we can make offers which is great
