Tried to resolve a communication and late delivery on next day delivery which I paid £6.95. Customer services all departments stated read T/C’S they refunded me my £6.95 and stated it was a goodwill gesture!!! I had to phone then 4 times because never called. No compensation for inconvenience except 10% of your next shop!!! Please be aware of these terms you pay for a faster delivery it doesn’t happen they give you your faster delivery charge back as a goodwill gesture!!!
If I could rate even lower, I would. I cancelled my order as the estimated delivery date was confirmed as later than what it was when I placed the order, and it wasn’t going to arrive in time before I gave birth to my baby. Robert Dyas confirmed the cancellation, but the furniture was dispatched and delivered anyway! Not only is it ridiculously frustrating to have huge and heavy boxes in my house, but when I have been trying to arrange for them to be collected and returned (since the day they were delivered!!!), I’m constantly being ignored and lied to. I was told I’d have a collection date given within 24-48 hours, and that was nearly 3 weeks ago. Absolutely appalling customer service. I’m going to have to end up going through my bank for a refund as they just will not come and collect the boxes!
Diabolical incompetent customer service! With blatant lies from their courier company, Yodel. Ordered a garden washing airer, it turned up damaged via a Yodel delivery, contacted customer service at Robert Dyas to arrange a return and replacement, they refused to send a replacement until the damaged item was back at the warehouse? Yodel were meant to collect the item the next day, I left work early to make sure someone was home, but they didn't show up? Contacted RD customer service yet again and the courier said no one was home? A complete lie, I have a Ring doorbell, no one approached the door all day and no card was left? Arranged for another collection the following week, left work early again and guess what, they never showed up... Again, and lied again saying nobody was home! Called customer service yet again and asked for a collection after 7pm as I cannot afford to lose any more money waiting for a collection that will not likely happen, CS refused to arrange this and also refused a collection from a safe place! They would not accommodate me in any way other than arranging yet another collection with no later time slot? Sorry not good enough, this Airer has cost me in real terms over £300 already! If you employ lying incompetent fools to deliver your items, take responsibility when they inevitably cock up and deal with it correctly! Nearly two weeks since my order, no refund, no airer, and still waiting for a call from a manager to sort this out? Unbelievably pathetic. Avoid this company and their courier!
Easy to order, and arrived on time. The bench was relatively easy to assemble by myself, as the screws were already in place. The bench design is lovely. My only disappointment is that the bench has a lot of scratches. If this was the reason for the reduction in price, this should have been stated.

Delivery. Hermes was supposed to deliver.. had to wait much longer than expected and had to message Robert Dyas to enquire where my order was. Pleased it was dealt with promptly as must have been for it to have arrived yesterday via Yodel.. who are always reliable customer find. I try not to order anything off anyone when they use Hermes/Evri. Camp bed for my grandson’s scout trip only just in time!!

I had ordered a whirligig for the back garden the weather has got to get better soon, 5days later nothing so I Robert Dyas lots of help but no dryer again the third helper looked into my order there has been a hold up leave it 48hours and get in touch if I need too, the next day my order arrived thankyou lady in SOUTH AFRICA who acted on my 3rd call.
I didn’t even know that Robert Dyas did household furniture so when I saw a console table that we wanted (£150 cheaper than anywhere else!), I ordered it. It was delivered within a week, was well packed and once out of the box looks beautiful. We are delighted. We were notified of dispatch and delivery slots … so all in all a very positive first experience with Robert Dyas!
