I bought a lacy sparkly purple dress from here for a formal event, it's lovely. High quality, beautiful, and comfortable. Very flattering fit too. I bought it in store rather than online so I can't speak for the experience there but the products themselves are great.

I ordered some black cropped wide leg trousers the exact same make as I did last year in white. They arrived and are about 4”smaller around the waist. It’s ridiculous
My recent order from Roman was for a dress and a top. I kept the top but returned the dress as a poor fit and not good quality. Whilst refund was within a reasonable timeframe I was refunded for the top, not the dress with an obvious difference in price. I contacted customer services on a number of occasions, explaining clearly the issue. If I have received a response it is to say 'you have received a refund......' yes - but not for the correct amount! I have emailed again today but don't hold out a lot of hope. Lesson learned here, only order what you are sure you want to keep - getting the correct refund or any sort of helpful response from customer services is unlikely.
Very disappointed with the customer service. I ordered a green cardigan (there was only one choice of green) and it was too bright so I wanted to change it to a different colour. The returns form only allows free exchanges for a different size which meant I had to pay £3.00 for the returns charge. I will not be ordering from this company again. I tried emailing without success, all I got was an automated reply.
It was easy to place the order and very quick delivery. I ordered a size 16 in pink knitted, scalloped edge short jacket. The fit was good and it is lovely. I have since had the mint green which i am also very pleased with.
I ordered 4 pairs of trousers for work and Roman did not disappoint. I ordered Thursday night and they arrived Saturday morning! All four pairs were a great fit, really nice fabric and look really good on. And I think the prices are reasonable too (but look for vouchers online), for good quality clothes. Will be buying again I'm sure.
Sadly your Petite range is still too big for me. I'm 5 ft 1 and size 8 (usually) but the dress I purchased for a wedding was far too big all round and too long. Not worth the cost of alterations so sent back, at cost of postage as you do not have other clothes in a smaller size to exchange for.
Loved the design and style of the top.
Really liked the jacket but it was too large. Have returned for a smaller size. Great quality would highly recommend.
I have just written a poor review on the Roman website but since hearing that they may only publish the good reviews, I'm leaving mine here. The dress I ordered was unwearable because of a big fault in the stitching which left a clump of material bulging out below the waist. But despite Roman's promise of free returns for faulty goods, I was not only charged for the return but told that the dress wasn't faulty. UPDATE Having messaged Roman on Facebook today, I have now received an apology, and the refund for the postage and had a message from Paypal to say that it's there. So all I can say is that on this occasion at least, polite perseverance has paid off.
There are many lovely clothes on line. That aren't in the shops. The problem I had was with the sizing. It was not true to size. I bought 2 knitted dresses ( trying to find the size for me) Dresses great but both too large. I was told I had to send them back separately. Returns not free. I would have to pay twice the cost! I decided to save this expense and go to my nearest Roman Store ( which meant 2 buses) Only to find I couldn't get a refund for the 2 dresses. It had to be a gift card. Nothing in the shop I liked. So I'm now forced to spend my money via this gift card on line. Back to square one! Not a good customer service
Website says take goods back to local store for a refund doesn’t say it’s by gift card also the customer service is a nightmare after holding on for ages got cut off twice sadly after many years I will no longer shop with Roman they have lost their customer service 😡
Ordered a size 10 jacket which arrived well packed and on time. Good service. Unfortunately the jacket was too big so I had to return it. I think the sizes come up a bit big as I am a standard size 10,
I bought 4 items 2 pairs shorts, top and a poncho type top . Love them all
