I had a horrendous time with the courier for a parcel and Sister Jane customer service was extremely helpful. They were very responsive with me and also great at contacting the courier. Unfortunately the courier was too slow so I did not receive the parcel by the time I needed it so I refunded it (which was a very easy process). I would never use that courier again, but I would gladly buy from Sister Jane again due to the positive experience with customer service and the effort they went to to help me with my delayed parcel.

Appalling customer service - never order again from Sister Jane

Ordered a Sister Jane suit and top for a bridesmaid's outfit for a wedding, and the top never arrived - DPD posted a photo showing it delivered but after a long enquiry process with DPD they admitted it was incorrectly delivered. The wedding was in October 2023, and it took me three months of emailing customer services to get anywhere with the refund process. Sister Jane ultimately offered me a £15 refund, on the value of a £65 top! £50 down the drain... and none of that was my fault! Shocking customer service and I will never order from them again. Despite me explaining the situation in full to Sister Jane, and my friend purchasing all the bridesmaid's outfits from them, they were completely unhelpful. Hours of my time wasted chasing customer services who ultimately made me take on the lost cost of £50.

I had a button missing on a sister Jane dress that I had bought from John Lewis in Leeds. I could not return to JL as I didn’t notice until I got home to Wiltshire. Nearest JL is a car round trip of 1.5 hours. I made contact with sister Jane who could not have been more helpful in sending missing button. Kept me informed by email of new button’s journey! Thank you Sister Jane for being amazing!!

Great clothes and customer service!

I have been a customer of Sister Jane for a few years now, and the clothes have always looked and fit great. It is really a pleasure to wear such unique and beautiful items! Also, the customer service is impeccable. I had a query regarding my mistake to enter the correct delievery address, and the customer service did everything in their power to get in touch with the courier. They are really quick to answer any queries, and make sure that you got all the help you needed. Thank you Kris!

Inconsistent quality + cheap fast fashion

The dresses look very pretty online, but in person quality varies a lot. I ordered two for the first time and the polyester type dress is lined and looks okay for what it is, but the cotton one is unlined and came damaged with rhinestones missing—and since it’s unlined the cotton material looks like it’s some kind of cosplay Halloween outfit in person and requires a slip. Customer service offered a 10% off future order and told me to sew a new button on myself when the item has never been worn (LOL!!). I told them that’s ridiculous for the over $100 price point (not wildly expensive but it shouldn’t be a piece of trash clothing for that amount) and they offered to return the damaged item. I already paid for non-refundable shipping so it isn’t exactly a free return. Keeping it because I don’t want to bother with returning something and likely not being refunded because of the other poor reviews on that process. Plenty of other retailers make nicer quality dresses for that price, so buy from them instead.

I bought a lovely red dress with…

I bought a lovely red dress with sparkly buttons & cream collar. They didn’t have my size at SJ so I bought through ASOS. it arrived & I wore it twice. I noticed that the red from the dress had made patches of the cream collar pink so I sent a message. In the first instance the person who responded misunderstood & said I should have dry cleaned not washed the dress. I had done neither as had only worn it twice. I went back to them & I sent pictures & gave them my order number & they said I should contact ASOS. However as SJ are the manufacturer that seemed ludicrous especially as I didn’t want to have the hassle of returning as I love the dress & wasn’t sure I could get another & things can easily get lost. All I wanted was a bit of advice on what was the best thing to do to hopefully get the stains out as there were no washing instructions on the lace collar,before I did something & ruined it. They replied & said I could try washing it in a gentle stain remover. They also offered to send a new collar which I thought was a good solution & was a lovely gesture. However they replied that once they received the collar they would send me an invoice for £4.99 to cover the cost. To be quite honest I was very disappointed & wrote back to say just to leave it. I love their products but do feel dismayed about their inability to understand the whole idea of customer service. If in doubt they should look at a company called Rituals whose customer service is 2nd to none & a joy to deal with. As others have said the dresses are lovely & if all goes well it’s great but when it goes wrong they do not seem to handle it well which makes you think twice before buying especially on line.

My experience with Sister Jane has been positive. Their customer service was prompt in answering few questions that I had about e-gift cards and online orders. I hope the company would consider in the future the option of gift wrapping service and including a personalized note (e.g. birthday) when ordering from their website. Despite this, I’d still come back because their staff and reps did a great job. Thank you Kris & Maria.
