SunGod just keep delivering quality glasses!! They have become a ‘must have’ item of our kit, we have run ultra marathons with them across Scotland, Run, Cycled and Swam our way to France with them and even rowed 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean with them!!! Through all of that they have performed amazingly. The quality of build is fantastic and the lenses really do make a difference. From ordering to delivery SunGod make it easy, efficient and enjoyable. We used the custom option when choosing our frames, colours and lense packages, it’s really worth it, you get exactly what you want. Even the aftercare service is amazing, our team Mascost ‘Ralph’ the doggo fell in love with my ‘Renegade’s’ when he was pup and chewed them up!! A bit misleading website. I advised my wife to buy the limited edition Vulcans with the photochromic lens, and the site states that this item is "featuring ultra-clear photochromic lenses which transition for every light condition". However, after purchase, I managed to find the lens guide, which shows that this lens is actually not recommended for sunshine, as the maximum VLT is 34%. It is actually recommended, according to the sungod website, for clouds, rain and cloudy skies. On this basis, I find the website misleading. I personally bought the McLaren Vulcans. The website doesn't help with the lens base colour, and I found it to be incredibly grey. If I had known, I would not have bought it. Overall I think there is a reason that this brand is cheaper than competitors. I wish I had not bought this, and went straight for the more expensive competitors. Finally, I wrote a product review on the website but I never identified it live. Therefore I am questioning the transparency of the online reviews at the actual sungod's website.

My SunGod Review: The SunGod x McLaren F1 Team 2024 Collection offers a range of styles but I chose the Sierras and I absolutely love them! Packaging: My SunGods arrived quickly and were undamaged. They came in a papaya box, showing off the McLaren vibes. Inside was a sturdy barrier with the slogan ‘The Future in Focus, which I thought was cool and stopped the glasses from falling out of the box. The glasses themselves were packaged in a McLaren black and papaya microfibre cloth bag. The Glasses: I’m very happy with the Sierra Sunglasses because they fit incredibly well and look very cool. They have the McLaren logo on the arms in papaya, which contrasts nicely with the sleek black of the actual glasses. They are easy to slide on and are smooth against your skin with a comfortable nose bridge that doesn’t rub – even if it’s incredibly hot and you’re sweating. The Sierras are very lightweight and as a woman who has long hair, they didn’t get caught in it, which is a huge bonus because a lot of other branded sunglasses do. Lenses: SunGod do offer prescription lenses, which as someone who wears glasses I think this is amazing. The Sierras I have aren’t prescription lenses, but it was still clear and easy to see through them with no glare in the sunlight.
The choosing and ordering process was straight forward. The glasses arrived exactly as expected and on time. The sun glasses are beautiful. So light and comfortable and look great. Thanks!
Have now got two pairs of sunglasses from Sungod, the first pair I've had for a few years, and I have recently had them replaced under the lifetime warranty, when they dropped out of my pocket getting out of the car and stepped on them! they really did replace them free of charge with no hassle. I have also added the new McLaren Zephyrs to my collection, which have the same fab build and lens quality.
