Bought an eye massager, arrived on time.unfortunately does not work... Sent 2 emails to customer services waited 48 hours and no response so far... Not impressed at all. Will leave them another chance and update my review.

Ordered personalised wine glasses for a family member’s 25th wedding anniversary. They arrived without the engraving . So I can’t gift them. Emailed expressing my dissatisfaction asking for an explanation and have had no response. I am never using this company again - if you’re offering gifts you need to step up your game. Why dispatch glasses with a blank space for engraving ???

I would not even give a 1 star. Brought this experience on the 6th of January 2024. Tried to use and couldn’t. Email gift experience as you can’t talk to anyone on the phone. And had an email a few days later to say call (Young Driver) As I got this for a birthday present for my daughters 16th. Spoke to someone from young drivers who said that the voucher has expired. I’ve been back and forth all week with gift experience and seem to be getting know where. My first email said 2025 is when my voucher expires and then another email to say 31st of January 2023 it expires. To now be told it’s already expired. I’m now Waiting on a response form the company and hopefully a refund??? Probably wishful thinking, I feel like I’ve been robbed for 89 pounds. I would never buy off this company again.

Let down badly

I ordered a birthday gift for my brother, received confirmation of order (ref 9712611), he didn’t receive it, after checking with neighbours, local Post office etc it transpired it was never delivered, yes the money had been refunded to my account three days after the order, but The Git Company didn’t notify me! Poor service, made me look bad and caused loads of inconvenience.

No reply to emails

Ordered a Short Break voucher on Monday as a gift, it did not give me the option to personalise so I emailed them immediately to ask how I could do this - no reply so emailed them again mid-week - no reply. tried to use the contact form on their website today and it keeps saying the authentication code the website ask you to put in is wrong even though it is not...... very frustrating. UPDATE - Only right that I should change this review as Abbie from The Gift Experience has sorted the problems out, she is very helpful.

Tried to order a personalised paperweight. Filled in all the details..... wouldn't allow item to be loaded into basket. As not completed required fields.... we had... a number of times..... can't comment on quality of item as never made it that far. Shame... never mind used born gifted instead... no problem.

My order was not delivered, and upon talking to the ‘customer services’ they are claiming that the parcel was delivered by Royal Mail from an area 2.5hours away from my address. A company of which has had good reviews in past and wish I read all the poor reviews and would have never used this company. All I wish for is my money back as now the gift is no longer required as it’s 2 weeks too late for the occasion! Company refusing to take responsibility or actually fulfil order

If I could give it no stars I would but not possible. Ordered a silver trinkett box for a 40th with engraving for a a female. They sent a whiskey glass saying to my godfather with my sis in laws name...... so wrong item and wrong message. Didn't offer to resend and refund. Just offered one or the other. I obviously chose resend as I wanted to ensure my sis in law got her gift. Guess what!!! Second time same item wrong again..whiskey glass and again to my godfather... and my sis in laws name. Disappointing that they not only ruined a surprised but got it wrong twice. Clearly no quality control and on top of that didn't offer anything for the trouble. If you want to surprise someone and not be disappointed. Dont use theM.

2 packs of 6 personalised Brownies ordered- order 5067622. Online they have pretty ornate designs made with icing on the top, decorated with balloons and some carving. What arrived had no additional decorations, the imprint was feint and even worse chocolate crumbs had spilled onto the icing making them look dirty and nasty. Not cheap but no care in creation looked very amateur. Cost £33.97 including postage. Originally this company were very efficient - I think this is a let down from a subsidiary business. I would also add that there were no gift boxes and there were no ingredients lists or use by date. Showed packs to a neighbour who thought the brownies had been decorated by a nursery school child. May 30th - received a full email apology and a full refund; they have also removed the product. This is exactly as any professional company should work with customers. I would use them again

Cushion printed with names and date…

Cushion printed with names and date commemorating my sister's Golden Wedding anniversary. The "golden" print could be better described as "custard yellow". Poor stitching with some loose threads dangling. A very thin filling which remains flattened if you lean against it. The cover is a poor-feeling cotton like a cheap pillowcase. I have bought much better cushions from a well-known pound store for much less than half the price. At a penny under £24 incl delivery, it's not so much "a steal" as highway robbery. Why is a Zero star rating not available?

This is the first time I have used ‘The Gift Experience.’ I came across the website while searching for a personalised gift for my grandson’s 21st birthday. There were plenty of interesting and unusual options and I was delighted to finally find the perfect gift. This was a Genuine Original Newspapers with Personalised Certificate. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues in the order and printing process. However, the response and support from all the staff I had contact with was superb. They were very professional and kept in regular contact via email and phone. Eventually, all problems were addressed and the gift arrived on time in its stylish presentation box. In spite of a bumpy start, I would recommend The Gift Experience as the quality of the gift was as expected and the staff were quick to address and rectify the problems encountered.

**Please see negative reviews here and save yourself the hassle - i was lucky to get a refund** I ordered a trinket box for my daughter's 21st yesterday and asked for it to be engraved. The item was shown on their website as being in stock, so placed the order. It has taken a few hours looking for something and were happy to find just what we wanted. They say they have good reviews, doubtful given the poor reviews here which I did not read first, but I did want this trinket box which looked perfect so would have probably ordered anyway - a big mistake. I received an email today from the company stating they have changed supplier and no longer sell this (even though it was still on their website in stock when I placed the order and also still shown as in stock when I checked after I received the refund email). This company is The Personalised Gift Shop (also call themselves The Gift Experience on their email which sounds wrong and they are trying to get orders from their competitor with an almost identical website name. See below and separate review. The Gift Experience website looks different, so they appear to be two different companies. Please do not order from this company as I can see from other reviews there are issues. Do not confuse this poor company with their superior competitor who I have ordered from before and whose name is almost identical - Personalised Giftsshop. I have left a separate review for Personalised Gifts Shop and recommend them and they are highly recommended. In summary : DO NOT ORDER FROM The Personalised Gift Shop aka The Gift Experience which also has a different look so looks like a different company). I ordered my grandparents an anniversary gift for their diamond wedding on the 4th of December with a 7 day dispatch date and 2-3 day delivery date, only today my order was delivered. I emailed the company on the 21st of Dec to chase my order and the customer service advisor showed no empathy for my late order, blamed it on the Royal Mail strikes and told me ‘in the unlikely event your product is not delivered by the 5/01/23 please get back in touch for us to investigate. I have also been charged £4 delivery for a product that was ordered over 3 weeks ago. I will not be ordering from this company again.

Issue with delivery and Im now without my order and without a refund, awful experience. They use a delivery service with a terrible reputation, and make little effort to resolve issues. Not worth the risk, you can get the same products from a more reputable provider with more reliable service.
