Lack of customer value and poor customer service

Poor customer service. I was a new customer, ordering £90 of products, and before ordering there was a pop up window offering a free gift. The code was supposed to be emailed. I waited, and waited, and waited....it did not arrive, but as one of the items regularly goes out of stock I ordered, and thought "as its the weekend, I will contact customer services on Monday", fully expecting them to do the decent thing and send on the item. To my absolute shock, they refused, saying they could not "amend thee order". I pointed out no amendment was needed, they jyst needecto send me the promised gift. They again refused, but made the "gesture of goodwill" of sending a code for the item that I could use if I made another order of over £40. Flabbergasted I contacted them again, saying "so what you are saying is that despite spending £90, you won't provide the gift unless I spend another £40? Please confirm if that is correct, as if it is I shall return the whole order, and will never order again.i am amazed at your lack of valuing a new customer". They confirmed it was the case, so as a matter of principle I have returned the order. I shall stick with Beauty Pie and Look Fantastic, who are both amazing companies and demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction. I will NEVER become a Trinny London customer purely based on their lack of integrity and value, and i would strongly encourage others to avoid them. Explained in emails we sent yesterday I’ve always been pleased with your products but the way the elevator was sent I thought was an appalling . It had cream round the top and it wouldn’t close properly. I just want to say my husband managed to fit the canister in properly but was still annoyed at the way the cream had leaked out of the top !!

Beautiful eye make up, my eye liner broke after a few uses and the customer service I received was second to none, no questions asked, a replacement was sent within days (this one didn’t break!!) Shout out to Lauren who is a credit to the company. Diolch from Cardiff. xx

What a great company

What a great company. Had a chat with one of theTrinny Girls as there was an item missing from my delivery. They sorted it out straight away and the missing item was delivered the next day. Lovely products to use.

Trinny London has the best customer service I have ever experienced. I have had 2 orders/deliveries that never made it to me and disappeared into nowhere (issue with the forwarder in my area). Lauren JM who dealt with my case is extremely friendly, reactive, understanding and needless to say: super efficient. Lauren worked her magic and I did receive my products today.

I placed an order for the "Blur" cream, intrigued yet sceptical of its promises, especially as I prefer products that eliminate the need for daily makeup application. Shortly after my order, I encountered several negative reviews on the Facebook advertisement, prompting immediate buyer's remorse. Consequently, I cancelled the order within five minutes of making it. Despite my prompt cancellation, the order was dispatched 36 hours later. The following day, I received an email stating that due to the staff's efforts to process shipments quickly, my order had been sent out and could no longer be cancelled. This was particularly frustrating as it implied an immediate dispatch, which clearly was not the case. A more fitting response would have acknowledged the oversight in handling the cancellation in a timely manner. This experience, along with the unfavourable reviews, has made me reluctant even to try the product. I am equally worried about how long it may take to process a refund.

I recently made my first purchase from Trinny and unfortunately received the wrong items. After sending an email explaining the situation a very nice member of staff apologised and arranged to resend my order which has just been delivered. Very good customer service and lovely packaging. I am looking forward to using my new product.

Great skincare let down by subpar packaging

I've enjoyed Trinny London cosmetics in the past and I really rate the skincare range but I wouldn't repurchase some of them as things stand and here is why: The SPF 50 (which is lovely), comes in similar packaging to the BFF with the silver top which cracks/splits readily and I'm left with a product that is difficult to transport. This should not be happening with any skincare products, much less moderately pricely products. Could we have a rethink on those fragile silver tops?

Bring a Friend - what a lovely experience!

My friend and I booked the Bring a Friend makeup lesson in the Bullring Birmingham . Our stylist was Megan - we were made to feel very welcome and put at ease. All questions were answered whether big or small. Nothing was too much trouble. The products were matched to our skin , eye and hair colouring. All products were of a high quality and I felt that the makeup I was wearing was just right for me. We had a very enjoyable afternoon! Thank you Megan!

Disappointing customer service

I placed an order more than 1 week ago (23/04), I bought a few products and spend well over 100 Euro. It was dispatched, but then the tracking updated the following day to say we can no longer deliver your order??! I have been chasing this for a week now, and despite 3 emails and a live chat with someone, nobody has told me where my order is, what has happened to it or when/if I can expect to receive it. This is really disappointing and very poor customer service. At the very least emails should be replied to within 24 hours, especially when I have tried so many times to get an answer. I have asked for a refund now ...they quickly take your money for an order, but when something goes wrong they are not so quick to help you.

Excellent customer service and great product

I ordered for the first time from Trinny London. The product I received wasn't what I'd ordered... Lauren replied very quickly to my email SOS, sent my correct order express delivery and said I could keep the original product. I gave 4 stars to acknowledge the original mix-up, but it's a 10/10 for Lauren's customer service afterwards. Plus I'm loving the sheer shimmer products. I'll be back for sure.

What kind of sourcery is this makeup…

What kind of sourcery is this makeup !? Purchased the BBF spf 30 cream. Having purchased many tinted products over the year wasn’t really expecting too much. It’s amazing. It doesn’t cover everything but then wasn’t expecting it to. But my skin looks better. With a bit of concealer (back on the website to purchase) it will be perfect on holiday. And then the samples. I get frustrated with samples as they are usually random. So tried what they sent. That’s where the trickery is. Applied in moments and oh my goodness. Amazing. The colours are beautiful and look like me but better. Back to the website to purchase. I have literally gotten rid of the ridiculous amounts of products I own as these will be all I need from now on. So easy to pack for my holiday as well. Even popping in my handbag for going out. Formulations are also so Beautiful. I’ve been looking at these products for over a year and ended up buying others which were not cheap by any means. I’m not one to write reviews unless I’m really sure. This brand is so so good. The match to me is also spot on despite me thinking it was completely off 😅 needless to say I’ll be trying the skincare one I’ve used the rest of my products.
