DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! We purchased a segboard with kart for my son’s bday, he is 12 years old. After our first use (as we have had one before) we knew the unit was faulty, kept beeping, and the front wheel on the kart kept hitting my sons foot on sharp turn alongside the seat being too high to push the handles comfortably all the way down (design fault in my opinion). After giving my feedback, many calls, emails, and general lack of communication and despite me trying to escalate they would never speak to me, only generic email. They will not refund my item, due to testing scratches and the fact I opened it 17 days after we took delivery. Very poor service.

Useless service do not buy from this company!!!

Bought a board and it broke after 6 months, reported and no one came back. Eventually got a response at Christmas time to send back via their chosen courier at a cost of £49.99. Board eventually picked up in January 2024, email to say it was faulty and would be fixed, another email to say it was on its way and would be delivered in 2 working days. Tracking number doesn’t work so give a call last tracking was 29th February 2024. I’ve called countless times and I am still no further forward. Shocking service, I’m out of pocket and have no board!! Absolutely fuming!!!!! One star is one too many

Good customer service for me…

The experience I had with the company was actually quite good. I hadn’t received anything after the order and so contacted them and it hadn’t processed. They immediately got onto it and ensured delivery for me as it was for my son’s birthday! It arrived on time and my son was very happy. Sadly there are some issues with the hoverboard that I’m attempting to fix but otherwise

Highly recommend UK Segboards…The board…

Highly recommend UK Segboards…The board was delivered quickly and the customer service has been excellent. I have a very happy son who’s enjoying his hoverboard. I also purchased a hoverboard from another UK company at the same time and I have had nothing but issues!! It’s therefore made me really appreciate UK Segboards.

Worst company I have ever dealt with

Worst company I have ever dealt with. The board didn’t work. Was sent back for repair and the fair was appalling…cables hanging out etc. refused replacement board and tried to fob me off with a reconditioned board…took them to court to get my money back

All in all my experience was poor

All in all my experience was poor. Board was broken on receipt. Returned this. They did replace it but took 2 months to receive the refund of postage. Customer service is dreadful.

Outrageous!!

Outrageous!!! Wish I had never bought the hoverboard from UK SEGBOARDS !!! After only 15 min of using it the hoverboard wouldn’t work anymore !! Thought might be the battery since was the first use ( despite I had charged completely before the 1st use ) and decided to give it another charge. After less than 30 min in charge the hoverboard started beeping and I am not able to turn it off either as the button won’t work … the hoverboard been beeping for the last 48 hours in the garage and is still going on at the moment !! Horrible customer service, I have emailed them this afternoon advising I cannot send it back yet as still beeping and won’t stop at all , I still haven’t received an answer ! Asked for a replacement with a new one and then asked for full refund the only think they could say yesterday was they cannot say anything about it!! Wish I’d never spent £270 on this website!! So stressing and disappointing , thought would be a great present for my son and now he’s left with a brand new “hoverboard” FAULTY in the garage !!!!

Worst experience ever

I would never ever ever buy anything from this company. they sold us a faulty hoverboard before xmas. like serval other customers of theirs it broke the very first day. returning it was made a nightmare with UKSegbaords sending us to 4 different drop off points that didnt work eventually we had to pay to send the board back ourselves., then they went quiet for ages and refused to send us a new board, wanting to repair the one they originally sent us (a faulty board, maybe a repair, who knows) finally I told them we were completely done and wanted a REFUND and they refused. we've had to do a chargeback with our bank which they've disputed,. they've had our £350 since DECEMBER and its now APRIL and we still havent got our money back and we havent even got a board. WE SENT IT BACK. They act in bad faith. The boards are faulty. Proceed with extreme caution.

After reviewing these expensive toys…

After reviewing these expensive toys and never ending sales on all the websites, I decided to give uksegboards a call and talk it through before I ordered. I spoke to Chris who was very helpful and put my mind at ease, he talked through the machine and after sales and I decided to buy based on our conversation. My hoverboard was dispatched the same day. Regrettably DHL were rubbish in not delivering the hoverboard and getting it lost somewhere. Jack at uk segboards helped to try and get it delivered which it was a few days later The hover kart arrived with a broken seat, and jack has arranged for a replacement to be sent to me. This is what I wanted, when things go wrong due to a 3rd party or malfunctioning parts, I wanted to be able to call a company to put it right and so far uksegboards have not let me down, so 5 stars. The hoverboard is amazing, its a solid, sturdy machine, and the kart is top quality, bucket seats, suspension, chunky front wheel its brilliant. Music from the hoverboards sounds good. My son loves it.

Product stopped working. Wouldn’t replace it

Product stopped charging after 3 or 4 uses. Uk segboards refused to replace it sent me a refurbished board which was falling apart ( charging port hanging out with loose wires and the two halves of the board not bolted together properly). Customer service impossible to speak to and keep sending me emails saying they will refurbish the board. In short I paid for a new board and got a shoddy second hand one.

It was outstanding and tremendous performance of the hoverboard we brought . My son was so excited to play music while on the go. Long battery and sound quality was excellent. I will definitely recommend to buy one for kids. Easy to learn.

Issue with Warranty

Power unit so far is good build on all terrain cart serious issues. They wanted me to pay for poor workmanship for a safety issue. Not pleased with aftercare warranty issue. Trading Standards should look closely at their business practices
