Really hard to give one star

Really hard to give one star, but suppose to get my view across it needs at least one star!, absolute rubbish service worst ever treatment to a OAP my mother placed a order, was told it would be delivered Monday 13th May, then gets a message sorry it's not coming until Tuesday 14th. Still never arrived yet again, Wickes were contacted Wednesday 15th and were told it's been delivered and signed for, on the tracking system the nearest it got to my mother's house was two streets away, so all we can assume is the truck driver had trouble reading his satnav if he was able at all!!!, and now is conveniently on holiday!!, so was told it would be delivered Thursday 16th, and guess what no delivery, was contacted again and was will come Friday 17th...fantastic service Wickes to a OAP, shocking service, someone has obviously received my mother's order and signed for it!!...😡😡😡

Great Service

The whole experience was effortless. We were helped through the process by Paul, who was very friendly and knowledgeable, enabling us to reach informed decisions without any stress. We were basically sold by the turnkey process offered by Wickes in Trowbridge, who take over responsibility for finding a competent, approved installer and overseeing the whole project. Highly recommended!

Never ever buy a kitchen through them

Never ever buy a kitchen through them! Seems cheap and the reason is they have no processes in place. Big company that can't organise it's processes and supply chain. Good design consultants but the rest of the wickes set up is so poor. They need a new director of operations as its a disaster. Night mare phone line and rubbish non existent live chat which they keep trying to push you to use even though it doesn't work!!!

Went to Wicks at Durham. Looking for a new kitchen. Was introduced to Leanne who was very knowledgeable and of great help. She explained ins and out of the kitchen I liked and made appointment for the design consultant to call. Can't thank her enough.

I m very sorry for Wickes Blackheath…

I m very sorry for Wickes Blackheath and any other Wickes or other business that using eurocarparks parking operator who is trapping and fine citizens changing the parking signage. If they realy wanted to prevent drivers from parking they could use gates or bars instead of changing parking signage. Be carefull visiting businesses with europarks parking operator. They only want to trap you. I can provide you any information you need.

I don't usually leave reviews but on this occasion I feel it is important to share our experience publicly. We embarked on a much needed renovation project in our apartment in December 2023. We did a lot of research and interviewed several potential companies as the project was going to be substantial. When we walked into the Wickes office at the Battersea Branch to discuss our project with Nadir Yousfi the Design Consultant I knew straightaway that I wanted him to carry out the project. Fortunately for us we were not mistaken. The service we had from beginning to end was extremely professional. Nadir is not just an outstanding designer but he is a person who listens to the needs and concerns of his clients. We gave him a vision and a list of things that we wanted to achieve and he executed all of them to perfection. Once the design was completed which it only took 2 weeks from the first appointment , the dates to carry out the work were scheduled and by the 23rd of December the work commenced and only took 8 weeks to finish. We had the complete renovation of two bathrooms, changing pipes, electrics , tiles, shower, bath , pumps etc all supplied by Wickes. The bathrooms now look like top designer bathrooms. Upon the Instalation team commencing the work they took the tiles and partition walls down they discovered empty spaces behind the walls and instead of just putting the walls back were they were previously they improvised and suggested to us to redesign the bathroom and utilise the empty spaces to create more space hence to add more comfort and value . They did an incredible job altogether. Nadir oversaw the whole project and communicated with the installation team on a daily basis to check that everything was running smoothly and the most important thing is that nothing was a problem which is very unusual when you are dealing with building work . We have renovated many properties in the recent years and I can say we have never dealt with such a professional team . We also replaced all the floors in the apartment for vinyl flooring and ceramic tiles in the kitchen and the advised we were given was spot on. Overall, the service was outstanding and our experience was extremely positive. Thank you Nadir and thank you Daniel from the London Pro Fitters Team

Letchworth wicks

Just have to say what a lovely service I receive from your Letchworth store, once again Caroline went above and beyond, Caroline helped me work it everything I needed to build a pergola, I’m retired and my measurements are not the same as people use now, but she say me down in the showroom worked out measurements and I’m really pleased to say everything fitted, maybe you should start doing gardens as well as kitchens as not only did she not make me feel silly for not being able to work it out but she kept me laughing. Will definitely be going into thiss store more often

from start to finish, the installation and planning was outstanding. planning was smooth, sarmed chaudhry thought out the box, with more surprises. delivery was on time, and all items arrived in tact. the fitter craig harwood and sons was superb, could not do enough for you, and if there was a problem, it got sorted immediately. overall quality of the kitchen was better than exspected, just wish it was a little bit cheaper lol..

1 in 4 people give 1 star....why risk it?

It's a shame I didn't read the reviews on here before ordering. I think it will never happen to me, but unfortunately I was 1 of every 4 people (24%) who regret ever placing an online order with wickes. I ordered £450 of tiles and some packs arrived damaged. I've emailed customer services with photos of the unopened clear packaging showing the broken tiles. I've emailed two times and complained via their complaints email two times. No reply to any email despite waiting 3 weeks. If wickes reply to this, please provide an email of a named individual who will follow up and resolve my issue. I may then amend the review, but until then it will remain as one star. Please double think ordering with Wickes...other companies offer better customer service!

A really good experience

From start to finish it’s been a really good experience. Paul Roberts the designer in the Christchurch store was super helpful. A few things needed to be altered from the original plans and nothing was too much trouble. The Installer Stanley from SEDI Kitchens and bedroom was also great. Checked with me regularly to ensure I knew what was happening. Good attention to detail. Very organised. Would definitely recommend using Wickes and SEDI kitchens and bedroom.

I had a kitchen design meeting with…

I had a kitchen design meeting with Shanel at the Martlesham branch and she was brilliant! Very patient and understanding of my super tight budget. We discussed pros and cons of various components and she was very knowledgeable about the products and what choices she could offer. I came away with two possible designs to mull over but will definitely be back to order one or other. Thank you Shanel - looking forward to saying goodbye to our old kitchen!!

Love my new kitchen

I love my new Wickes kitchen. From the initial meeting with Steve the designer at the Littlehampton store to the after care visit from Steve and Kelly, I couldn't fault the service or products received from Wickes Littlehampton. Steve was patient when I changed my mind a couple of times and the design was perfect. I chose to use Wickes fitters, who were very knowledgeable and helpful too and did a great job.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. The order was partially delivered due to the driver forgetting to pick up the whole order. No complaints procedure, no possibility to speak with management - no regard for people's time and availability. According to customer service, the company policy is that the delivery window (a full day between 7am - 7pm) is only estimated and is not guaranteed. As a disabled person, being able to book time with support staff to be able to handle the delivery for me is very important. If I had known the delivery wasn't guaranteed during the times allocated, which wasn't communicated, I wouldn't have shopped here. The time was confirmed by text message, I booked support staff, and due to 'incidents beyond Wickes control' ie the driver forgetting to pick up half the order, there was nothing Wickes could do to help rectify the situation. I need to wait for four more days until I can take the delivery and another week for support staff to be available to put together the parts I ordered. This was all explained to Wickes staff, and I was told there is nothing they can do, and no management staff were able to discuss.

We've recently had a great new kitchen fitted by Wickes. The designer in the Dunstable branch, Shannon, listened to our needs and came up with a great design which has now been fitted. It looks fantastic and we hope we get to enjoy it for years to come.

Missing items during delivery

Missing items during delivery. Driver is aware as he brought up the issue. However, you get no email or any information that items are missing and how they will attempt to fix the partial order. Up to the consumer to follow up and make sure you're not forgotten. If you do this with Wickes millions of customers you can make money so there is no incentive here to do it right. Not everyone is going to go through the trouble of chatting with customer service bots that end a 10-minute conversation where you answer all the questions with "There are no agents available currently, please come back later and try again."
