Comfortable shoes for out door activities

I do a lot rucking and rucking requires a sturdy tough but comfortable shoe. I’ve tried many brands but to this point nothing compares Xero shoes and I will purchase again!

Love both pairs of Xero Shoes I've purchased. They fit great (my usual size), have plenty of room for my toes, and hold me as close to the earth as I can be with shoes on. My email interactions with the Support Team have been positive. They've been quick, responsive, and courteous.

Comfort right out of the box

No break in time for me. My Mesa Trail II's were comfortable right out the box. Like the flat soles and wide toe box. Other shoes and boots have cramped my toes even with a wide sizing. I wear mine with socks as my everyday footwear. If you wear without socks you may want to go down a half or even whole size.

These shoes saved my feet/ back

Shoes are well made, nice and wide, and feel great. Very stylish. I had over 1000 miles on my first pair. I am currently on my 7th pair ( different styles) and wear nothing else.

I only wear Xero shoes!

For the last 6-18 months I have replaced all my shoes with Xero shoes. I recently switched out my running shoes for the Xero Prio shoes. It felt very awkward after decades of running in heeled, thick, over supported shoes but I noticed my posture has naturally improved wearing other Xero shoes so I was willing to stick out the adjustment period. My body has made the adjustment just fine and I’m running like I used to. I LOVE Xero shoes and my feet are finally free, strong, comfortable!

Good Shoes

I have a couple pairs of HFS I shoes that I really like, but I one of the pairs was getting old so I decided to grab a pair of the HFS II. I like the new shoes but they do wear differently than then HFS I’s. The sole is more rigid and the uppers seem a little tighter than the HFS I’s. It’s a good shoe, but I do prefer the HFS I over them.

The lightness and barefooted feel of these speed force ll shoes made me walk pain free. Very comfortable walking up and down the hill. Delivered earlier than expected. Can’t wait for the next ordered to arrive.

Love the shoes

These boots fit perfectly and were comfortable from the very first step, exactly what I wanted. I have yet to be out in a downpour so cannot verify how waterproof they will be. I am also very happy with the color and overall look.

They were a great comfortable fit right out of the box. Wore them for the first time in Lisbon walking 15-20 miles a day on hilly cobblestone streets. I love all my zero shoes! This is my 5th pair. Not my last.

Top for utility, price point, and gradual custom fit.

Wore through two pairs of these shoes (just bought two more) and after the Prios, Barefoot Merrels and Vivos. I decided that these were my favorite utility shoes overall. The HFS's have a very nice and wider toe box, as do Vivo's which does allow for more freedom and expansion when on long walks. The Vivo's however run rather large so they have a clown shoe effect at a size 13. The only cons of the Speed forces is that their little reflective straps are prone to tear if you use them while landscaping or in extensive trail running. They are a bit narrow, but they have very forgiving upper mesh. So if you are uncomfortable at first give them time and they'll win you over. Beyond that out of all of the Xero's, Vivo's, Merrel's and Groundies. They have the most contact with the earth while maintaining around a 400 mile expected use. The Vivos are a bit more enduring, but at around 2-3x increased price. So for the price point, functionality, comfort, and within the normal lifespan of a shoe. These are the clear winner. Thank you for producing these and for the SP2s that I look forward to wearing.

Quelve Stars!

Got the shoes in on a Thursday night and went hiking on Sunday for 15 hours and 20+ miles almost 50,000 steps! Feet were in incredible shape on Monday morning.
