A highly qualified team of 60 people carefully controls each step of the production of our exceptional cognacs on all of our vineyards: the cultivation of the vine, the vinification, the distillation, the aging, the blending and the bottling. Thanks to this well thought-out choice, in 2019 we obtained the High Environmental Value Level 3 Certification for all our vineyards.

In 1865, Henri Bouraud acquired shares and became a partner to the Meukow brothers.

In 1925, Kuwahara began to export bicycles and parts to Russia, China and Southeast Asia, closing the business from 1940 to 1945 during World War II.[2] 1959 saw the first delivery of Kuwahara bikes to the USA. Sentaro Kuwahara died the following year, with his son Masao taking his place.
