The brand was known for its top-notch mechanical watches and, since the early part of the 20^th century, for its pilot and aviation watches with signature oversized onion crowns. Today, Oris builds superb mechanical watches for diving, aviation, and motorsports, as well as classic contemporary pieces that have a cult-like following. The independently owned brand is all about thinking outside of the box with its marketing and communications efforts, as well.

Code41 Watches - Started as an idea just eight years ago in 2016, the CODE41 brand was a crowd-funded concept that came to fruition thanks to a community of 57,000 members who invested. After reaching its numbers, the CODE41 team members began producing watches that revolved around different themes in life. Its watches are powered by movements such as Miyota 82S7 and are part of collections like Anomaly, X41, and Day41.

Maurice de Mauriac Watches - This Swiss brand was founded at the end of the 20^th century, by Daniel Dreifuss in 1997. The family-owned and operated business, located in Zurich,  creates mechanical watches with a minimalist design and a focus on colors and straps. It even worked with industrial designer Fabian Schwaerzler for its L-Series of timepieces. The watches predominantly fall in the under  $5,000 price range.

His goal was to apply his keen watchmaking knowledge – garnered while supplying the watch industry with important components – to his own brand. Deftly blending Haute Horology, precision, and aesthetics, Romain Gauthier watches are precise, beautiful to the finest detail, and highly respected by all.

AkriviA Watches the creator of novel haute horlogerie timepieces in Geneva, Switzerland. An independent watchmaker that is simultaneously traditional and contemporary, AKRIVIA is inspired - in style, craft and technique - by the splendid history of watchmaking in Geneva. The workshop’s origins, on the other hand, are distinctly modern: AKRIVIA was established by exile who fled his hometown to escape war, finding sanctuary in Switzerland – and his calling as a watchmaker.

Cyrus Watches - Independent watch brand Cyrus focuses on creative haute horology and daring design. The brand is about creating small numbers of watches to maintain exclusivity and originality in mechanical watch engineering. The brand partners with only the finest and most ingenious watchmakers, such as Jean-Francois Mojon who brings watchmaking to new levels. The most alluring collections from Cyrus are the Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon Skeleton, the Klepcys Chronograph and alarm – each has a dynamic pioneering spirit.

Louis Moinet Watches - Easily one of the most creative independent watch brands on the market, Louis Moinet has rich roots that date back to the 19^th century, when Louis Moinet, watchmaker, scientist, inventor and more, created the very first chronograph watch in 1816. The company was relaunched in 2004 under the direction of Jean-Marie Schaller, who takes everything he does for this brand to new heights. It is known for its use of meteorites, fossils, bones, and even scarabs, along with its expertise in astronomical indications.

Delbana Watches - Founded in 1931 by Goliardo Della Balda, Delbana is committed to preserving the legacy of its founder by offering high-quality, affordable Swiss Made timepieces. Watches produced by Delbana are built in-house, with an attention to detail that you would expect from a higher-priced brand. Every model is in solid stainless steel, with rose gold, yellow gold, or black ion plating. In 2002, Delbana merged with Delma Watch Limited. The collections offered range from classic to sporty, with the Retro collection emitting a distinct vintage vibe.

MB & F Watches - Founded in 2005 by Max Busser, who had been a key figure at Harry Winston – creating the now-famed Opus series, MB&F is all about thinking outside the box.  Busser, an engineer by trade, creates his three-dimensional horological machines – most of which are inspired by space travel and other sci-fi like themes – with the help of  “friends.”  Hence the MB&F with F standing for friends. He gives credit to every watchmaker and master mind involved in creating each new horological machine.

Ferdinand Berthoud Watches Created in 2015, Ferdinand Berthoud watch company takes its name, and its inspiration in the design of its Haute Horology timepieces, from the 18th-century scientist and watchmaker Ferdinand Berthoud. Horologist to the King in Paris and to the Navy, he specialized in chronometers. Today, Ferdinand Berthoud – part of the Chopard Group — is all about creating cutting-edge chronometers in its FB lines.

Christophe Claret Watches - A master watchmaker for some of the finest brands in the world, Christophe Claret founded his eponymous brand in 1989 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. A perfectionist in every sense of the word, he works tirelessly to create solutions to challenges so that he can unveil some of the most complex and creative watches. Chronoswiss Watches - Founded in 1983 in Lucerne, Switzerland, by German master watchmaker Gerd-Rudiger Lang, Chronoswiss is known for its mechanical innovations. The brand was the first to miniaturize the regulator concept from pocket watches and develop an entire series of fascinating wristwatches with off-center displays. Today, the brand brings the classical idea to full-scale contemporary three-dimensional size. Its Flying Regulators with Open Gears complement its Heritage and Classic lines.
