Ottoman Hands was established in 2009 in London by Deniz Gurdal who regularly travels to Turkey to bring you a unique collection of handcrafted jewellery. Inspired by her Turkish heritage, she started designing jewellery in her bedroom and selling them at a market stall on Portobello road. As demand grew, she soon discovered a small independent workshop in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar that could help bring her designs to life. Inspired by the hands of the artisans that create our unique jewellery. We still work with the same artisans to this day to create handmade, sustainable jewellery, inspired by antique designs with a contemporary twist.
